The sequel to the 1987 cult hit The Lost Boys takes us to the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California, where vampires quickly dispatch anyone who crosses their path. Into this dark world arrive Chris Emerson (Hilgenbrink) and his younger sister, Nicole (Reeser). Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings move in with their eccentric Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the locals way of life. When Nicole unwittingly falls for a local vampire, Chris must locate and destroy the gangs lifeline before his sisters transformation is complete; to do this Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of none other than Edgar Frog (Feldman). Subtle references to characters from the original film, and cameos from returning actors offer homage to the Lost Boys legend and set a sinister tone of impending doom.

This came out straight to video today . I thought it was decent flick .
Anyone see it besides me .

I gave this a rent I was a big fan of the Orginal Lost BOys overall it was pretty good. I thought it was interesting they had a Sutherland play the role of the VIllian again.

So only Edgar Frog comes back, I wonder what happened to Allen?

Straight to video like it should've been. Not a bad movie, but not a particularly good movie. The original is still the **** though.

ehhh, I did'nt care for this movie at all. I did'nt even finish it was that bad imo. I guess Corey Feldmann needed the money that bad to be in this, might of been a tad better if Corey Heim(sp) was in it..Original is still 100x better.

wow this sucked and not in a good way i thought edgar frog looked cool but what is the deal with feldman he was a decent actor when he was younger but now he can't act at all

Soooo...anyone else see this movie? I'm kinda leery on buying it.

I rented it cause LB has always been one of my favorites and I was curious. I knew it would be bad but geesh at least try to make it an LB sequel. This felt like if you removed Edgar Frog it would be any other generic vampire d-lister like Vampire's Covenant or something. I wasn't expecting top notch acting or anything but at least a disposable sequel ala Fright Night Pt. II. If they had used that alternate ending with Feldman, Haim and Alan Frog as the intro it probably would've been a more respectful and decent DTV follow up but what was there sucked only worth watching for Autumn Reeser's attractiveness and the scene with the motorcycles.

They should've shot this in Santa Cruz and used the boardwalk to their advantage to have a consistent universe with the first they should've had vampire POV shots they should've had more reserved vamps as opposed to the extreme sports jerks who we got here. It's like the guys who always attack Harold and Kumar became vamps. This movie was misguided and not needed and just makes TLB look like an even better movie than it already is in comparison.

It's a decent film for something that went straight to video . This works as an homage to the first one . The vampires are updated for this era. I remember in the original it seemed like the gang outside of Kiefer had nothing to do . At least the gang in this film seemed more threatening and had dialogue. It's a darker film but had Feldman back to bring in some of the campiness. The acting was ok , nothing that really stands out , good or bad. It can be fun to watch . I would rent it before you buy it. I think this movie is setting up a part three . I wasn't too crazy on how haim was used. also newlander looked cool but his scene was cut . it's all pointless without a part three and quite confusing by what they did in the end credits for a final scene .

I'm about to head out and rent this. I was a huge fan of the original and I can't wait to see the sequel.
