Lost Girl

I love Kensi. I'm not going to spoil it but something happens to her that will play into Season 3.

My only real problem with the show as this point is Kensi. While I love her quirky humor, she hasn't really grown since the beginning of the show. Every other character has, but she's still...Kensi. Again, I like her, but I'd like to see this character grow mature and not act so childish all the time. In the last episode, she was a little too over the top for me.

Really? I thought she had matured quite a bit. Sure, it would be nice if she weren't always the damsel in distress every week. But she had managed to do quite a bit. The fact that she sent the love of her life away in order to protect him from the Big Bads who keep coming after Bo (and by association, her too) was a sign of maturity. I'm sure she'll develop even more as Season 3 progresses.

Right now she'a about at the same stage Gabrielle was in Season 2 of Xena. I couldn't stand Gabrielle in Season 1, but as Season 2 & 3 progressed, I began to like her more and more. I put Kenzi in the same category.

But........she's super hot:(

No need to put that in small letters. She is a very HOT girl. I like her, which is why I want her to mature.

Please remember I am watchiing the show now on SyFy. I don't know what has happened to her yet. I also have never watched Zena. I know that's like blasphemy to my fan-girl cred, but I just never got around to watching it. Plus, I hated Kevin Sorbo as Hercules, so that is also a reason....:yay:

I guess I just want Kensi to act and be mature and more......worldly. It's okay to talk slang, but at this point she seems really stuipid because she talks stupid and acts stupid.

Okay, I just finished the season two finale.

A few things I liked about the episode. Hale's sister, Val, coming to help at the end. I really liked that because I like the interaction she has with Hale. I LOVE Vex....he's just cracks me up all the time. Another thing is I am very interested to see what happens to Kensi in season three and I like how subtle they were with showing that she has been infected by something. I was glad to get some background info on Trick. Plus, I'm thankful they finally wrapped up the story of the Garuda.

What I didn't like. I had a love hate relationship with Silk in this episode. The crying at the end...was bad. I wanted less jokes from Kensi, but what else is new. I also wanted Dyson to play a larger role, but I'm hopeful we'll see a return to him having strong feelings for Bo next season.

Overall 6 out of 10. Not bad, but not that good either. I still think this season was way too long.

They showed some highlights from next season, which returns to SyFy in January. I think I saw a photo of Kensi behind bars with some wicked looking teeth. I am very intersted to see what happens next.

Is anyone else in the Kensi and Wolf shipper group because she does not leave him the only human while the others flee. But most likely Kensi will be paired up with Dysons ex partner

I got hooked on this show but must confess i need help remembering all the character names

I'm not a fan of Kensi and Hale. I want someone new and interesting for her. I also want Hale to have someone else too. I just feels too easy of a pairing of those two to hook up.

I really can't wait for next year. A lot of my fave shows are coming back. Yippee!

Already seen those promos (the benefit of living in Canada), but great to have them here on SHH.

Meh.... the new season is premiering in Jan here on Syfy. I can wait because the promos are kind of lame.

January 6, "Lost Girl Confaedential" on Show Case (and maybe SyFy for you Americans)

Can't believe I forgot that the new season has started. Finally caught the two episodes aired thus far. Dyson's new partner looks to be an interesting addition to the show. Hmm... the Dark Fae playing nice... I wonder what they are playing at. Also, why is Vex still crashing at Bo and Kensi's place?

Lastly, Hale as the new Ash (*ahem* acting Ash) promises to be the least respectable of the lot. Hope his luck fares better than the previous two and he survives for more than a season.

This new season is kind of....not as good as season one, but I'm okay with it. The interesting thing is I want to see more of the relationship dynamic and less of the Fae business since that plot line usally works out to be really lame. I'm not liking "The Dawning". It just seems kind of random and wierd for Beau to go through this. I, personally, want to see more about Beau's father and mother.

Agreed, I even thought that what ever was happening to her was connected to her father but instead we get this rather lame plotline.

Sure, the explanation was out of left field. However, then again, so was the Garuda and virtually all overarching, season-long arcs for all sci-fi/fantasy/urban fantasy shows where the writers create the rules of their respective universe. Anything NEW is by definition left field since the signs/foreshadowing of it are only understood if we know the rules of the universe and the relevant rules are only revealed at the moment they are actually revealed.

My problem with this twist is that
instead of being something unique to Bo it's something that all fae go through at some point
. This just makes things less interesting imo.
