Greetings, Hypesters! Long time, no see for those of you who remember me by my former handle of "The Last Angry Man". Those of you who don't remember me? Fair enough. Pleased to meet you, anyway!
Anyway, my current return, I come bearing gifts in the form of new comics!
BEHOLD!
After so many years, publisher changes, and other crappy delays, it's all come down to this. The book's been out for coming on nine months now, and sales have been pretty respectable, but they could always be stronger. We've gotten a pretty good push when paired against the SCOTT PILGRIM books, because it aims for the same sort of audience.
This thread is just a "thank you" to the Hype community as a collective, who supported and encouraged me back when I was posting here upwards of 30 times a day and by extension, Michelle, Dave, Thomas, and all the fine folks at Oni Press in the long, soul-crushing process that got us to where we are today. I really can say, we would not have gotten this far if it weren't for this board and a lot the people I've met here.
Here's a link for those of you who have yet to enjoy and get a taste of the preview to do so. The first two chapters, (That's 22 pages of comics!) ABSOLUTELY FREE!
Other than that, I'm just stoked to finally be able to have this out there, so people can finally see that I've not been yanking their chains for all these years. I look forward to hearing what all of you think and by all means, if anyone has trouble finding a copy, let me know and I'll call your local comic shops personally.
Anybody already given the book a try, and if not, anybody enticed by the preview? It's available through the Oni website or Amazon.com, and can also be ordered through all fine book and comic retailers all over this big blue and green ball we call home!

What if the one that got away kept coming back?
Norm Raymer, an aspiring comic artist, has a turbulent relationship with Maggie. With their passionate ups and chaotic downs, is this love, or a youthful lust? For better or worse, Norm and Maggie must discover whether or not they can ever really make it as a normal couple. Can you really be a normal couple when your whole life is just fodder for your comic book? A new romantic comedy graphic novel for young comic nerds in love.
