Let's be real everyone, Supergirl's going to have some attention, otherwise there would be a problem. Let's speculate on every suitor/one time thing she'll get on this.

We know from the character breakdowns that Kara will have a crush on James while Wynn will have a crush on her, and I expect that we'll get a lot of narrative mileage put of that dynamic, especially since the audition tapes made it sound like Wynn may also develop a crush on Kara when she's Supergirl.

Brainiac 5 is always a fun twist. And he might serve a similar narrative function to the Star Labs crew in Flash: foil our main character to demonstrate exactly where they are in the geek category.

How about THIS!!!!

Totally kidding....

PowerBoy works well for that bad boy that will happen eventually and he can turn into a villain.

we need some batgirl or wonder girl friendship

If the CW shows are any indication (the showrunners are behind both shows) The show will beat us over the head with the thought that James is Kara's soulmate-in-waiting and Kara is justified in being out of her mind 24/7 for him. Meanwhile, fans will prefer her nerdy confidant, causing the showrunners to either, A)make him the "new" true love and run with it until they beat it into the ground, milking it to the point fans turn on them. or B) completely ignore the fans and turn the fan favorite character into a villain.

Historically speaking.

Yeah. My biggest fear is that they botch it ala the horrid romantic subplots and main plots on The Flash, and totally turn the audience off. However, the show reminds me much more of Lois and Clark which was created and produced by Deborah Joy Levine who had a much better handle on relationships and banter than the writers of the Flash do. So , if its more like that in terms of romances and less like Flash, the show should be fine.

If the crossover happens, count on this. Lol

well they just "fixed" the Barry-Iris ship, but seeing these two together the spark is palpable. its practically leaping out of the screen. KAPOW indeed :woot: accidental ships are the best ships methinks.

i thought the Flash was sorta ok with the ship thing, its the Arrow thats kinda unbearable with it. then again theres a lot of clunky things with Arrow this season :csad:

Well , I agree Arrow was quite bad, but Flash with Barry and Iris was far worse imo. I had to fast forward through those scenes mid-season, because that got that unbearable in terms of the writing. Outside of that though, Flash was great. Arrow has been all over the place this season , I agree.

A question for everyone....

Did you like the "romance dynamic" of "Chuck"?

Aww, I see it. I hope that the new Green Lantern doesn't have similar sparks when Justice League hits. I had a huge ***** for Hal Jordan/Kara way back in the day and if it happened again I would get sucked in to an unbearable shipping OBSESSION.

James Olsen doesn't do it for me, though. No matter how manly the actor, in my head, he's the irritating **** that he has always been.

No one for Comet the Superhorse? :gngl:

Well the EPs h ave made it very clear that this is not the usual love t triangle where you h ave a good girl and bad girl.....they actually become friends.
