download switch science project and lupe the killer

don't worry, they are mixtapes, so you are free for you to download anywhere.

He seems old skool. I like that.

Is he fairly new? This is the kinda hip hop I can enjoy.

He seems new to tha game.

His album is pretty good.

yeah he seems pretty popular, I just cant understand why he isnt that popular

He's not dumbed down enough for your average consumer. The majority of kids aren't into lyrics anymore. All they want is a memorable repetitive hook and some random cuss words.

bloody kids

Lupe is the s***. Plain and simple. I heard him back on the Fort Minor mixtape ("Spraypaint and Ink Pens") and I was hooked. A ridiculously slick flow, and just incredibly creative lyrically (just check out "The Cool" off of Food & Liquor). Easily one of the best albums of 2006, period.

jeez for a moment there I thought this thread was going to be blessed with the grace of hooters pimp

This CD is the real. Probably the most original album that I've heard since '99. Black on Both sides. Probably the best lyrical album that I've heard in a hot minute too. He just needs to diversify the sounds of his tracks just a bit more and he's got the truth. He doesn't dumd his **** down. This kid is smarter than most.

Agreed here. Better production on this album would've been a major boost. I think Soundtrakk did a solid job, but Lupe needs to bring out the big guns for the sophomore effort. People whose production can match the gravitas of his lyrics. Seriously, the dude verbalizes a story about a gangsta zombie. Just...:wow:

I realised now, that he reminds me of Steve Urkel . oh yeah and I bought the album today.

I only have a free mix tape called Chi Town Gurrerra or something like that. cant find it either
