I haven't bought a basketball game since the NBA Jam days but I wanna get this just for Jordan.

Jordan is about the only retired player that girls of today still know. He had a good look for acting, too bad his acting ability did not match his basketball one He was the player that would always be seen in nice suits outside of games. Today they all look like thugs. Gross.Did Jordan's facial expressions remind anyone else of Denzel Washington? I do not mean they look a like normally, just some of the faces he makes.

When Jordan left the game is when I stopped watching Basketball. I'm of the "I wanna be like Mike" generation, so....I may have to get this game.

Yea im stoked for NBA 2K11, altho not so much for Jordan but for the new AI and control scheme they are implementing. I actually dont care about Jordan being in the game. I dont care how good the dude was, he doesnt play in the NBA and shouldnt be the focal point of a 2011 NBA simulation video game.

While I kind of agree it seems odd, I don't really care, this game is going to be the ****. I've always wanted to play as him since I was a kid, since he was never in the old games, so this is an amazing opportunity. I'm quite excited, and I hardly think it will detract from playing franchise mode in the modern era with modern players/teams. So glad they did this eventually. And ya, as you mentioned, Jordan isn't the only upgrade the game is getting. I would have gotten the game regardless.

Yea i mean i think its neat. Jordan deff is the best the game has ever or will ever see so seeing him here is cool. Plus i think the fact that you can take control of Jordan, place him as a rookie on any team and actually watch him progress through his career(actually seeing him age) is going to be a neat mode.

But like i said, the new upgrades to presentation, the improved late game AI and the new control scheme all seem to be awesome additions. Iv always picked up the 2K games but i would generally wait for em to drop in price, this yr i think ill be getting it day one

Im deff getting it. I loved 2K10, but felt it needed some additions in certain areas(late game AI, presentation) to be really great and it looks as tho 2K11 will address those specific issues. Super stoked for 2K11. Altho i couldnt care less about the Jordan inclusion.

I never play sports games online, but im sure online will be smoother than it was last yr. You weren't the only one to have issues.


I make custom covers so ill def be adding my own to that, but still a neat cover if ur a Jordan fan. My manager at work gave me a promotional piece that had that artwork on it, i think ill send it to my buddy is was/is a massive Jordan/Bulls fan.

yea they have. There have been times when i wasnt 100% sure i was watching video of a 2k game. Cant wait to see the game on my tv. I hope they have custom soundtracks so can input the Superman theme whenever Dwight Howard scores.

Played the demo this morning. Its pretty bare bones but even so, its phenomenal. They've made substantial improvements to AI defensive and offensive decisions. The animations looks much improved as well. Also diggin the new controls.
