I didn't know if this should be in the all pics thread or its own, so i put one in the all pics thread and I'll put a bunch here.

I bought 2 die-cast models of my car and turned one of them into a robot.

I hope you like :oldrazz:

Cool. Great works. Can it transforms?

Nope. :csad: that's why I typed "sort of" in the title of the thread.

It took 3 full days to do this. it probably would have taken a year to get it to transform and not look horrid. :cwink:

But thanks for taking a look.
It was just something fun to do, to pass the time until the movie comes out.

see ya.

This is why kitbashing should be left up to the professionals :)

I just got a couple of new pics from slightly different angles
here ya go:

If you are thinking this was a kit you are wrong. it was a metal car that I had to cut up a section at a time with metal cutting knives and glue back together. Good try though :whatever:

That's what kitbashing is. :whatever:

I think it was a nice attempt at curing boredom.

Most kitbashers take parts from existing Transformers/robots and use those for the hands, head, legs, etc. It would have been best if you took an Alternator of similar proportions to a Saturn, stripped its exterior and slapped yours on it. That way you can mess with it until it can transform.

Reminds me of Hot Shot from Energon.

That's awesome. I was planning to draw my car in a robot mode, even though I can't draw. And I'm lazy. And I have homework I should do. But yeah.

Awesome job!!!! All that blood, sweat, and tears show in Your work! Don't let anybody tell You any different Fanfugutastik!

That's funny! :) Thanks

Who cares if you can't draw I'tll be fun to try. And it's a different way of passing the time than just waiting for new pics. :(
And if you get past the laziness It'll be way more fun than homework.
BEST thing about being done with school...no homework!!!

Thanks *Dead*End* that means alot
I just do things like this for fun and to get into the spirit of a very anticipated movie. Like for Episode 1 I dressed up as Darth Maul to make things more fun
for everyone. I don't mind coming off as an uber-nerd if it's in the name of fun.

Pics of me and my girlfriend dressed up :oldrazz:

NO I'm not gonna dress as megatron for the midnight showing of TF

I know, I was hoping they would use my car to make BB if they weren't going to use a VW but then I went to the NY auto show and saw the camaro concept in person and realized why they are using it.
One amazing car in person, especially the silver one.

If I didn't like my car so much or had money for two cars I would be the first in line for the camaro concept.

Does that box on top of the cabinet in your first Darth Maul pic say "Barf". To think all this time I've been making my own when I could have just bought it at the store.

Lol. Optimus, just saw that and checked- here's a clearer picture of it...
