Mail client Error message

"Either there is no dafault mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set it as the default mail client"

This is the error I get when every I restart my computer, it started happening yesterday. Does this mean that I have an email that is trying to be sent to me or something/????

I'm not trying to send any emails. So, my home computer is trying to send out an email???? For what purpose???
