making a .gif... help appreciated

alright, so, i'm not too bad on a computer, and even decent with the photoshop-type software, and for the life of me, i can't figure out how to make a simple .gif... i have about 13 pictures, all the same image, but different colors, that i want to play back to back to make like, you know, like one picture that changes colors.

any thoughts on what would be the easiest (and best) way to do this?

well, i don't.

i have paintnet for photo manipulation, but no gif software. i mean, what i'm trying to make isn't really a gif anyway, i don't think, it's just a series of pictures played one after another quickly.
