I have an .iso file I'm trying to make run like a DVD as I don't have the dvd. It's a 4gb+ file and the flash drive is setup as NTFS so it can use it. I can access the individual files but whenever I try to run the installation software it tries to run it through winzip and it gives me an error that it won't work. I tried googling the answer but can't seem to find any answers.

Any help or would it work if I burn it to a DVD? I don't currently have one so I figured it would be easy to just mock up my flash drive to mimic one.

Well, an .iso file is just an image of an optical disc. Burning it to DVD would be the easiest solution. But since you don't have one, another alternative would be to mount the .iso file with a virtual drive like Daemon Tools or Virtual CloneDrive. That way, the virtual drive will treat the .iso like a regular disc drive treats an inserted DVD, and run it just as a DVD would. If that doesn't work, there may be something wrong with the .iso itself.

Thanks SB, I'll give it a try. It's just a bunch of old Lucasarts games. It's not really anything important.

Use Daemon tools or PowerIso (there's a few free programs around does the same job) and 'mount' the image instead: They create a mock CD/DVD drive from the iso so your PC reads it as that and will install whatever is on them.
