My flash drive crashed!!! What do I do?

Guys, please help me... Is there any good data recovery system for flash drives you know of? Or is there any way besides data recovery software for me to recover my files? I don't know what happened, I am playing a FLV file from my flash this morning which always stops minutes into the file so I removed my flash (safety removal first of course) then inserted it again. Then when I opened the drive my files were no more, they were replaced with file types with box characters as its file names. WHat do I do??? There is about 6-7G of files in there.
