thought a thread dedicated to the other Spiderman costumes would be nice to see for instance black spiderman costume, scarlet spider costume, and over costumes he has worn, i'm thinking about doing a movie scarlet spider either based on this design

or this design below taken from the pre scarlet spider sketches

the spider on the blue hoodie will be one of the movie styled spiders used on spidermans costume that ill use, the web shooters tho might be changed to something more non gauntlet looking

so far my only problem is the belt, webshooters and the foot pocket, i mean like story wise why would he have them, so far the only thing i can think of is this scarlet spider clone powers arnt advanced as peter's and thats why he requires the shooters.

for the costume tho im thinking of trying to make a cross of comic and movie like add parts from the movie web shooters that never made it into the movie
[IMG]hopefully it will turn out like this but different

Its cause Pete had web shooters too. It wasn't till later he didn't anymore. Or were talking about why would he have them on the outside?

back to the costume itself so far i have the mask that needs some new eyes as the ones i have on are sewed on with a cloth like mesh but before i get the eyes i want a shell due to my dam ears rofl

okay here goes then going to buy a blue hoody then hopefully get a urethane spider the front one used on spidermans chest, and glue that on.
and then cut the sleeves to the right size, after ive done that it will be the main costume itself which i have allready gotten sorted and will have to wait till the time comes, then follows the webshooters and belt, im thinking of using a belt buckle i got off ebay that has a cool red spider on it
    [IMG]

so far i need to get the following in order yet
    Hoody
    Mask Shell
    Latex(?) WebShooters
    main suit
    Urethane Spider x2

ill take them off the list when i get them any help and suggestions are appreciated

Just say that the cloning process is not perfect and he has to press on his wrist to use his organic spinnerettes and the webshooters are made to do that. It was what the ones in the movie were for till the idea was abandoned.

I would get a hooded sweater without pockets, and cut the sleeves off right along the seam.

I would say to get some kind of texture to it. get some nice scarlet Spandex or cotton/lycra is you can. And before you cut the fabric wash it. Dry it then lay it flat on the ground ( garage floor or something) get some screen mesh and hang it outside. Spray the mesh with red Plastidip. take the mesh (you will need another erson for this part) and lay it ever so gently on the fabric, being very carefull not to move it in any direction other than down. Do this on test fabric first till you get the method down. Once you do, it has great results.

dude, you could use zazzle.com to "print" the spider logo onto one of their blue hoodies instead of just gluing it.
