Snakes eat other animals, so I think it is wrong to sentence him. Are we going to arrest people feeding their snakes fish or mice? No. Do I think he should have fed him a puppy, probably not, but I am not the owner of the dog nor the snake, so it is none of my business.

Also, I own a snake, and I feed him mice. Am I evil?

As an owner of 5 dogs I of course hate what he did. As for him going to jail, I agree with the sentence he was given because last I checked, it is against the law to feed household snakes certain animals, a dog being one of them.

I think the law doesn't care about rodents or birds because to a certain extent they're considered pests which is a reason why they're legal.

The owner usually finds stuff missing at there house too. I don't keep the stuff I just give it to a charity or pawn it and give the money charity.
