Shouldn't you listen to what people say? If more people say they want to vote for just one then sure, but if the majority says 2, I think you should listen.
Remember what happened with the deadline.

well as i said before,the point is to vote for the best ONE,ONE not 2,plus if there were 2 winners,who would make the thread?who would be the one whos idea is used etc,its easier to just have one
i dont know about you,but most polls.competitions ive seen onlyhave 1 winner

There can be two winners even if people can only vote for one so I don't see your point.
Previous competitions didn't last a whole month and didn't have that many entry.

Honey, it took me over a week to figure out there was even a contest.
Keep it open for a week hun. People get on at different times.
I get on more during the week because of my work shifts are early... and I spend time with friends on the weekends.
I don't mean to be bossy, but two days is not enough time if we want a lot of people to vote.
Almost everyone on the TLS forum has entered the competition, which means a vote for every entry almost. Except for those who don't vote for their own. It could mean a lot of ties.
Do everyone a favor and keep it on for a week. Some people don't work during the week... everyone has a different schedule.

BB, there is no need for stress. Nothing is wrong here. You're getting worked up over something very simple. With either poll type there is a chance for ties.

Let BB finish what he started. Complaining and moaning doesn't get anyone anywhere, and it is very stressful, try and put yourself in his shoes in the current situation. There is clearly one entry that is above the rest - You just have to re-analyze each one again.

I'm not complaining. I was just concerned about the two day voting period. I could care less which voting system is used. Two days would just limit certain people from voting when they wanted to participate, because I might be one of them. I'm still not sure if I'll be visiting some friends this weekend.
