    I saw this in the newspaper today and it made me smile.

    Crater Galle, named after the German astronomer J.G. Galle (1812-1910), is informally known as the 'happy face' crater.
    The 'face' was first pointed out in images taken during NASA's Viking Orbiter 1 mission.

    I was a science nerd before I was a comic book nerd. So when I first read Watchmen I was all "Hey, that's the Galle crater! ZOMG".

    I like how, even though it's going in the wrong direction, there's still a streak over one of the eyes.
