I hate the Super Friends. It single handedly lead to the percived Lameness of Aquaman. The writers of that show should be beaten to death with metal pipes in front of their children.

Not entirely, pretty much in his first appearance in Justice League of America(the issue escapes me) he begins by chatting to pete the puffer fish. The perceived lameness begins... You have to love the silver age

You know what,sure there were a crapload of characters I have never seen before.However,I knew the main players such as the entire JLA and such.But I really felt like there was so much more at stake that I didn't have to know who those guys in the background were.The story was so well written that you didn't really have to know who was who and so on.

I read it again after a year of being back into comics and i noticed quite a few ppl that i didnt catch the first time.

Did u see steel? he's in a metal batman suit now lol
