Marvel Television Marvel On Disney Streaming Service (aka Disney +)

Hated that run. That's not a Daredevil era i ever want to see.
Well, we already saw the Frank Miller version across 1 movie and 3 seasons of a show. Nothing wrong with doing something different with the character. Mark Waid's Daredevil was fantastic

Some characters just don't work as Avengers. Daredevil is one of those that just didn't for me. It isn't about doing something different or not. Not every MCU hero needs to become an Avenger. Especially when other much more key Avengers have yet to join. Such as Wonder Man.

I think we’re missing the bigger spoiler picture guys: I guess it means at the very least Scarlet Witch and Vision survives Endgame?

Well, that's an element of DD that we've never seen before that. But either way, he can be an MCU supporting character. Maybe even getting his own short miniseries if people demand it enough.

Falcon and Winter Soldier as well.

So the three that were dusted and two that were murdered are getting their own show.

Instead of WandaVision they should have "shipped" the name as WanVision...and had the Queen song "One Vision" as the theme song.

I mean,..no they shouldn't have...but I'm not sure anything could be as bad as WandaVision.

As far as the other tv stuff goes...if Marvel Studios ever decides to launch any those concepts, they won't give two craps about what the other division of the company did. Personally, I wish they would keep the same cast/move forward not erase...at least with Punisher and Daredevil.

Marvel movies available in the first year (Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Iron Man 3 and The Dark World will be available on day 1):

I think I'd wait when their library is almost complete. TIH and the MCu Spidey movies won't be there right? So I guess I need to get my Dvd just to watch those. I really need to see Dr..Strange and gotg 2. I haven't seen those since the first time I saw them.

And I just realized that War Machine won't be getting a solo movie while the other supporting characters appearing in Endgame would either continue in a tv show or movie sequels.

The only Netflix character I could see as an Avenger is Luke Cage.

I think Wanda Vision will be a prequel that takes place between Civil War and Infinity War

Ehh, I hope this is how they introduce Wanda's Chaos Magic into the MCU. She wills Vision back into existence using it and creates a family for them

...It's 7 bucks.

Its 7 bucks, but I prefer to get a streaming service that features a lot of movies that I don't have yet in physical format. I don't have Dr. Strange, gotg 2, in any format. So if I subscribe to D+, I would want those movies to be available right away.

I can't really get Disney+ since I'm in a rural area where my only reasonably-priced, high-speed internet access is limited to 50 GB per month and I have to pay a dollar for every GB I go over that limit. I get up to that limit pretty easily and that's even while downgrading any videos I watch to their lowest possible resolution.

Of all the shows they could have given us we're getting Loki, Falcon/Winter Soldier and Wanda/Vision?!??

I wanted them to make Moon Knight, Blade and Ghost Rider shows.

Chaos Magic and it's complex, ambiguous nature offers the most interesting character arcs for Wanda, definitely, as it means she has her own lore and has a true evolution in power.

IMHO Chthon will give Vision a new soul and manipulate him, in effect forcing Wanda to embrace and understand her power and deeply challenging Vision's humanity.

Note that with Tony and Cap gone, Vision and Wanda's plans to retire as foreshadowed in Infinity War can go ahead.

Also, remember Nathan Fillion's deleted cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy 2?

What do you mean ?

Well it will definitely be much higher than the ABC/Netflix stuff. I also wonder where the Freeform stuff stands right now

Day 1 Marvel movies on Disney+
Iron man
Iron man 3
Thor DW
Captain Marvel

4/20 possible movies (not counting either SM or Hulk)

Year 1 Marvel movies on Disney+
The 4 above +
Ant Man and the Wasp
Endgame
Infinity War
Black Panther
Winter Soldier
GoTG
Thor Ragnarok

11/20 possible movies

For comparison:

Pixar
Day 1
18/21 (missing Coco, Incredibles 2 because they'll still be tied with Netflix contract and Toy Story 4 because of window)

Year 1
21/21

Star Wars
Day 1
6/11

Year 1
11/11

I'm guessing the Netflix/Agents of Shield is not canon anymore

Well...

More generally, Feige promised that the quality of the Disney+ shows will be what fans have come to expect from Marvel. He said that he was happy to finally have the whole MCU in one place (likely an acknowledgment that the ABC shows and Netflix shows didn't feel particularly connected to the movies) and added, "Each of the series will be equal to the movies in quality and storytelling," Feige said. "They are immensely important. Deepen the mythology and significant impact the future of the MCU."

First Details Revealed for Marvel Studios 'What If?' Series on Disney+

It seems to me that Feige intimated that the Disney+ shows are in the MCU proper, and under his personal purview. Whereas the Netflix/ABC/Hulu/Freeform shows of the Loebverse were not. Feige's promise of cinematic quality for his shows is reassuring to me after years of mediocre and worse shows from Loeb. We know that Feige isn't going to hire a Scott Buck to buck up any of his new shows. :yuk:

It could be that Wanda uses her own Mind Stone-created powers to give Vision a soul. And does Vision even need a new soul? Their connection to the Mind Stone obviously tied them together before Thanos killed them, so I would expect the still to have that connection.

The real question, for me, is, will Wanda be tempted to try to use her powers to resurrect Pietro? Or will she create the children she shares with Vision in the comics from magic and her Mind Stone-given energy manipulation? Those are fascinating and fraught possibilities.

So I wonder when the contract will run out for Netflix

Disney movies go to Netflix for 18 months and then they expire. My guess is Disney gave Turner some cash + exclusive rights to some Marvel movies for a certain period of time in exchange for amending the Star Wars contract (there's literally no reason why Avengers, AoU, Civil War, Dr. Strange are not be on the service). Turner had SW exclusive until 2024.

It's also possible they signed a deal with certain 3rd parties before finalizing their decision on Disney+ (For example Iron man 2 is currently streaming on Prime and Hulu and will expire by November 2020).
