Marvel Rivals

I have the same issues with this I had with Overwatch
It's slow, repetitive, and I don't really understand the reward structure unless you pay for the season pass

And the slow thing is exacerbated by it being a Marvel game
like, just what I've always wanted, to slowly float into battle as Storm or Iron Man and press the fire button over and over until an enemy player dies

Different strokes I guess, I can hardly say anything to help change your mind because as I said, I absolutely hated Overwatch & it's formula as a game & this is by all accounts the same sort of thing.

I'm honestly amazed I've even been liking it because I generally detest PvP type games in which I've to damage someone 4 or 5 times just to break through a shield/armour & then another 4 or 5 to whittle away their health. It's even worse in this game because you then have to shoot them another 5 or 6 times because they're being healed/boosted.

Me liking this is an anomaly to myself.

If you're going to give it a go again & are struggling with how slow the game feels for certain characters, play Spider-Man, Wolverine or Black Panther, all 3 have much quick movement/explosive moving attacks that allow you to assassinate lone or vulnerable targets & get out quickly. Good players that play those characters are extremely difficult to deal with, particularly Spider-Man players as he swings so damn fast.

I've played Wolverine, but when your dash/jump are on cooldown, he just slowly jogs towards the battle and its annoying
Haven't tried Spidey yet because his movement seems tough to master on controller when you got PC players doing 180s in the flash of an eye, but I'll give him a shot

I'll say, I had a decent time playing the other day as Thor, his hammer swing/dash thing has a very short cooldown, the hammer throw covers good distances when someone runs away, and feeling slow the rest of the time isn't too bad since he's a bit tanky

You can get a physical copy of the Marvel Rivals comic book on April the 2nd.

Art is done by Luca Claretti.

I got the Cloak and Dagger trophy today. The only two left are the Wolverine and Captain America ones

Does anyone else think Sue Storm looks like Zero Suit Samus? 🤔
I think she looks like Dagger.....I get them confused all the time

"Our new video game is a massive success. We are making a **** ton of money now. How do we reward the talented developers who gave us the new golden goose?"

"Fire em and bring in people who are cheaper. We don't need the game to be good anymore. We got the players hooked."

NetEase seemingly laid off their American team. ****ing bull****.

Didn't even know they had an American team. It's odd if they were part of the core team as they claim that none of them were asked to do some of the English speaking update videos considering all ones I've seen have had people who's first language blatantly isn't English doing them.

There's lots of debate over the nature of firings.

Do we know anything for sure?

There's always something happening over these game studios even if their newest game turned out to be successful.
