Ghost Rider # 0.1 may be... THE BEST F***ING TITLE EVER! Marvel needs an award for that title.

I am waiting for TWO GUN KID & RAZORBACK #1,000,0057.1A for $3.99. C'mon, David Gabriel, make it happen. :o

- I won't be bothering with MOON KNIGHT. I have no interest Bendis making him more of a psychopath, only one beyond parody. He's Two-Face now, only with more personalities. Rather than flip a coin, he rolls a 6 sided die.

I'll admit... I laughed at the last part there :) And while you know I typically like Bendis and that I was intrigued by this book... the more I hear about it the less I care. I'm likely going to skip this after all.

- IRON AGE looks iffy. Gage being on it is a plus, but I am not sure about it. It may depend on whim.

I was totally into this idea until I saw the $5 price tag on the second issue there. Skipping it now!

- MYSTERY MEN, as the premise goes, is about the masked vigilantes of the 1920's and pre-WWII 1930's. I did some research, and naturally virtually all of Marvel's heroes debuted in the late 30's or after 1940. This seems to want to portray the group of heroes between the end of the Western era in the 1880's and the WWII period. Doesn't this mean that we'll have to change who the first heroes of Marvel were? Eh, retcons are odd beats. Why not go back further? Give us the superheroes of 1910? 1900? 1367?

They kind of have with SHIELD

If we're lucky it might surpass Jason Aaron's 3.5 whole issues of the last ongoing.

I wonder how Moon Knight's Die Roll Of Personality would play out. Which personality would get which number?

1 = Moon Knight
2 = Marc Specter
3 = Wolverine
4 = Spider-Man
5 = Captain America
6 = Squirrel Girl

And that'd be hilarious, if it wasn't being played straight with an established character. Bendis calls it "embracing his crazy" in so many words. I call it making him an irredeemable, unsympathetic cartoon. But, whatever. Not interested. Hopefully whatever is left of Moon Knight is acceptable for use in other titles, like SECRET AVENGERS and HEROES FOR HIRE.

The poor selling critical darling that confuses half its audience. Hurm.

Jason Aaron wrote GHOST RIDER for over a year, and then finished with a 6 issue mini series. So he wrote nearly 2 years worth of material, which is I think being collected into an Omnibus.

Yeah Aaron's GR run is in anice Omnibus, i has it! It's really cheap like Matt Fraction's 20-25 issue collection. It's still all nicely hardcover and fat like the usual Omnibuses, not just a oversized HC.

Man, If I'd have known Cletus Kasady was coming back I may have picked up those Carnage comics. Maybe I'll check out the back issues.

Hmm, looking at the Fear Itself stuff I think I'll be able to keep this tie-in deal to a minimum. I'll be getting the core Fear Itself title, but as far as the tie-ins the only one I'm definately getting is Iron Man 2.0 due to Iron Fist and the Immortal Weapons. I'm also considering Youth in Revolt for the Initiative crew. The only other ones that semi-interest me are Avengers and the Home Front but having just dropped Avengers and each of them being $4 they'd have to fall on slow weeks for me to even consider picking them up. I doubt I will though.

So as of now there's only 2 tie-ins I'm likely to even bother with. That's a MUCH needed break from my House of M/Civil War/Secret Invasion mentality.... GOTTA GET 'EM ALL, POKEMON!!!

Hey, I left him X-Force. That's kind of...something like that.

Ha! I told you it was a good book.

Yeah I just got this in the mail and I'm loving everything about it. Great grindhouse fun. I can hear the narrator from the Machete trailer in my head.

I liked the battle nuns Aaron introduced, sexy and deadly!

Everything is right with kung fu nuns with guns.

I had it, but had to return it. Most of the pages looked like they were cut up by a razor blade, and glue stuck other pages together, ripping them when separated. And, of course, Midtown Comics didn't have any replacements.

Man, I want that book back. While I didn't like Aaron's run on a monthly basis, reading it back to back to back made the story flow better for me.

So he wrote 3.5 + 0.6 issues. :awesome:
