Hey, I figure I've been sticking with this crappy storyline this far, I'm going to go until it's done. (Plus, didn't I hear there will be a change of writer coming soon???)
Hasn't Supergirl been crappy under every writer she's had so far? Maybe some characters really are irredeemable...

Tony Bedard is writing Supergirl and Renato Guedes on art. What a waste of talent.

Yes, it is. Sort of like how she's been a waste of space in Legion of Super-Heroes. I was so hoping she'd be the one to die at the end of the last issue, regardless of the fact that it starts with a flash-forward to another character's memorial. :(

DC is way too caught up in creating this notion of a super family. Supergirl should be relegated to guest star and cameos.

Rip Hunter should recruit Connor Kent as the new Supernova, too.

What? It's relevant. Kinda. :o

[HULK AND POWER PACK #4 (OF 4) $2.99 - (I really don't know why Marvel continues to chug out these Power Pack books. Or, at least it should have the Marvel Adventures tag on the top.)

On a completely semi-related tangent, I always wondered why Marvel hasn't tried to get this on TV. Think about it; network Saturday morning TV drools over shows starring kids, and has animals every now and again. POWER PACK seems tailor made for that stuff (they are empowered by aliens that look like Horses, and battle aliens that look like Lizards). I mean it could be relavent and semi-mature like the 80's stuff or light like the new stuff, but I just see it as a wasted oppurtunity, especially when DC is willing to crank out shows about teams that are relatively unknown (granted, usually with one well known star, like Superman in LOSH and Robin in TT). Marvel is daring when it comes to movies but hasn't been as much on the small screen since the 90's.

I'm undecided about Mystic Arcanna and New Warriors.

Omega Flight #3 Cwi (of 5) $2.99

IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN #9 (but, didn't #8 just come out 1-2 weeks ago?)
 I was just thinking the same thing. Maybe Marvel's trying to make it look like it sells better by cranking them out faster, lol.

The last two were fill ins by Cory Walker (and great ones at that). I'd assume that gave Hester some time to play catch up. And I think at least one of the issues was delayed because of Civil War. So if the issue does ship this week, those are probably the reasons.

Yeah. Walker's 2 issues gave Hester about two months of a break which is enough for at least one more issue to be done. We're just used to comics being late, is all. When one comes early it freaks us out.

Well, I've got no problem with more Ant-Man. :yay:

Major Ditto. It's one of my favorite Marvel titles at the moment.

Actually, off the top of my head between mini's and ongoings I could maybe name 6 Marvel titles that are gems to me right now: Ant-Man, Avengers: Initiative, Omega Flight, Loners, Nova, Iron Fist, and Runaways. Hmm, 7, better than expected. :word:

Those aren't in quality order, but I like them too much to rank them.

Daredevil, Iron Fist, Loners, Runaways, Ant-Man, Nova, Annihilation, Avengers: Initiative, Captain America and hell, I'll even throw in New and Mighty Avengers. Marvel's on the up and up, at least with the books that I pick up every month.
