Apparently the X-Men do give him a challenge since they always beat him. He seemed pretty weak and lame overall towards the end of that last arc in X-Men. But I do agree that he hasn't exactly been used to his full potential. And the reason why he's always fighting the X-Men is because the only thing he's concerned with is mutant ascension. It wouldn't make a lot of sense for him to fight the Avengers. But he did for a short while in that last arc.There needs to be more of a reason than just putting the human race in danger for it to be interesting to me. A deeper reason...like he has when he fights the X-Men.

I love Electro. But damn if the writers are inconsistent as hell with him. He's never been better than in "Light the Night" which highlights exactly why a man with his raw power limits himself to simple bank robberies. And frankly, in just about any incarnation he'd straight up rape the New Avengers. Goddamn, that was bull****.

That was a hyper-charged Electro who hasn't done much since.
As for Apocalypse, it's not that he hasn't had a real fight-it's that he hasn't accomplished anything in his 600 years on Earth. They had to go to an alternate reality to make something out of this guy!
