Hey shouldnt Child services get involved!!! I mean even if they are celebrities, Save the world and all that. they are still endangering their kids. I don't understand JMS's rationale at all. The whole point of putting the children in other homes in the first place is because villains keep attacking the Baxter Building. If the children were living someplace other than the Baxter Building, they would not get attacked.

So why the frak would Child Services care if they could protect Franklin and Valeria from supervillains or not, if no supervillains are gonna be attacking once they are in new homes?

Yeah, if I were a supervillain, I would never pounce on the opportunity to attack the Richards children when they're not being directly protected by the FF or Reed's technology. Never.

Well Child Services flaw... and yours if I'm interpreting correctly.... is that the danger would be over once the children were relocated. Even putting them in a witness protection type program wouldn't save them from someone like The Thinker or The Puppet Master.

Reed proved in that effin' logical way of his that the children can only be truly safe with the Fantastic Four.

It really is the safest place for them. The FF aren't typically the "go for the throat" types, but when someone ****s with the kids, they get scary.

I'd wager even villains that don't have a direct connection to the FF would try to get to the kids just to up their profile.
