Captain Marvel's obviously gonna win this round, but I prefer Bill by leaps and bounds. I've wanted to like Captain Marvel for a long, long time, but DC refuses to give me anything worth liking from him. He's been relegated to decent cameos in good series, which are nice but small, or starring roles in terrible series, which depress me.

Back in All-Star Squadron he was actually pretty cool. It was the first Superman / Shazam fight I'd ever read and it was great.

Plus the whole Spear of Destiny / Magic Heroes can't cross the English Channel / Hauptman Wundar thing was really cool.


But I guess that was Earth II after the Crisis. It was still cool.

I think that Shazam and Isis Tv show always left me with a bad impression of Capt Marvel too( They were some &^$#ass SFX) Plus how can you be scarred of someguy who's nickname is "the Big Red Cheese!" Holy Moley!

You're talking to a man whose mother would get livid because I sat in front of the tv trying to watch every single cartoon at once every Saturday ALL DAY. I loved animation because art was/is my thing. FarOut Space Nuts, baby!

The only reason he didn't win that battle with Supes is because DC wanted to protect the integrity of their tentpole character. Billy could take him theoretically.
