I loved that scene, Kingpin's always getting away with killing people's loved ones without much reprecussion. It was good to see someone just kick the piss out of him in front of everyone. (shame no one remembers that happened anymore)

Yeah, we had this discussion back when it came out, I think. Peter just came off like a vindictive *****e in that scene to me.

Eh, pissed of as he was, Peter was all talk about actually killing him. But kicking his ass, that was clearly called for. When he took off the costume and said, "It isn't spider-man you're fighting, it's just me" that was chock full of win. But I can see how you'd see it that way. Still Kingpin's had a beating like that coming for quite a while with all the **** he pulls.

this is another "joker v. doom" for me, because they are 2 fantastic characters that i just find a decent comparison between. sure two-face has this horrible head of a mob thing going on (did i mention it's horrible and a complete waste of the character?) and sure the kingpin has a couple of issues, but neither is near on the level of the other's.

i guess two-face because of the times when his story has been told right...but i really like the kingpin. especially in the "ultimate knights" arc of ult spiderman.

Kingpin getting his butt handed to him by a blind man (Daredevil), who then proceeds to drive a rendered unconscious Fisk through the wall of a scuzzy dive while on the hood of a car, was chockful of win.
No super strength needed unlike Parker...
