Newsarama has the Feb 07 solicits here, and there is no mention of a Fantastic Four title. FF: The End is there, but not the regular title. So does this mean the members go their own ways and team up for important events like Silent War?

I think Civil War has thrown the schedule off plus JMS is leaving fairly suddenly and they seem to think The End qualifies as a "stand-in" for the regular title, like the way Death In The Family was the only FF title to ship in May.
Seems like there's been at least 6 months this year with no regular FF title. Which really sucks on Marvel's part.

According to Marvel Previes, FF will kick off again in March under "The Initative" banner. I don't blame McDuffie for taking a break- his first two issues are tie-ins to a massively hyped crossover which the FF are a major part of, and the second is also the 45th anniversary, and he has to reboot with a new team immedaiately afterwards. Can you blame him for taking a one month break?

Anyway, we get two issues in January.

Which FF will it be though? I'm pretty sure it will be Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben at some point, but will it be then? I would hedge yes with the movie coming out (or at least working towards a return of the real FF).

I wonder if the cake with the digits "4" and "5" has any significance aside from it being the 45th anniversary of the FF? Will they be the Fan Five? Or am I just reading too much into the cover over my hunger for news? :hyper:

PS. It would be a shame if the FF doesn't go golden five years hence.

And while we're at it, look at the cover of the Punisher War Journal #4 in the same page. What the heck is Doom doing among the mourners for Stilt Man, in the cover? Does he care enough to dignify the funeral of a (to him) two-bit villain?

Doom wouldn't care, he would be there to laugh at him.
