Marvel's October Solicits

Dread, you're just mad because Marvel rejected your Cloak and Dagger pitch. I told you it needed more *******.

Actually, I pitched a Spider-Man story I wrote once that they rejected. If I could ask a genie for three wishes, one would be to write ASM. :p

You didn't include enough Spider *******. Marvel is all about ******* these days.

You're 100% correct. I pitched an X-Men story with loads of ******* (loads...get it?) and it's slated for next summer's crossover.

And oddly enough, it involves the return of Jean Grey.

Wow, ******* is more random than most thread tangents. How'd this come up?

No, that's MJ.

I wonder how long Joe Q and JMS will pretend that the point of "One More Day" isn't to erase MJ from the picture. If that solicitation didn't make it absolutely clear, I don't know what would.

Written by CHRIS CLAREMONT
Penciled by JUAN SANTACRUZ
Cover by JELENA KEVIC-DJURDJEVIC
Psylocke's reunion with her brother, Captain Britain, takes a turn for the worst when the diabolic minds of several of
Excalibur's greatest foes decide that one world is not enough to conquer. The Exiles and Excalibur must join forces to save crosstime before all of creation is destroyed!
32 PGS. (Each)/Rated A …$2.99 (Each)
Lord help me, a book by Claremont actually sounds interesting to me again. I know I shouldn't bother with it, but I've missed the Exiles and I like Captain Britain and the story sounds interesting and that cover looks cool... :(

WWH#5 looks incredible. I love the Sentry, I just wish he wasn't such a pansy most of the time.

I also like how the Hulk #111 is classified. I like that they're keeping it a secret.

Finally, I am really interested in the Penance solo. He is really interesting. He is whiney, sure, but he has good reason.

HINT: It starts with "MODO—" Just when you thought it was safe to read comics again…and Marvel has to do THIS?!?
32 PGS./Rated A …$2.99

SOLD.:word:

Uh...oh my God?

If this somehow defies all universal odds and gets turned into an ongoing, I'll explode. Ty, Bobillo and Howard in the same book? Yes, please.

Haha, I'll pick that up as well. I love Bobillo's style, and Howard the Duck is possibly the one character whom it actually suits even better than She-Hulk.

Bobillo was on She-Hulk for that Howard the Duck/George Lucas scene right?

Black Tarantula is coming back. Awesome.

I always like BT and wished he would have been used more often. BT's son may be the only reason I'd read Spider-Girl. So many unused Spidey villains becoming major DD villains. Mysterio, Owl, Kingpin of course, BT.

New Avengers...how the hell does the Hood recruit Venom? Tune in and see!
