I'm torn between keeping Liara as a girlfriend or seeing what comes of a Archangel relation ship for ME3. Also, are the Volus Jedi in this game now?

I want that one Volus [BLACKOUT]with biotics acting all god-like in that one mission[/BLACKOUT] to be on your team in the next game. t:

I have to admit, Miranda grew on me.

If an imported Shepard has a love interest from the original Mass Effect, then that relationship will continue into Mass Effect 2, even though the love interest will be unable to join Shepard's squad. However, it is possible for Shepard to be unfaithful and pursue a relationship with one of Mass Effect 2's potential love interests. Acting unfaithfully is expected to have negative consequences for the relationship in Mass Effect 3, provided this Shepard survives the events of Mass Effect 2

I've started my run up today, reverting back to my original FemShep, mostly because I can't make a male Shepard I'm happy with for the Infiltrator I just finished ME1 with. Alas.

I think I might hold of on Insanity for a while at least closer to Mass Effect 3. Right now I'm just going to have fun playing as a Renegade.

Someone on the forums made a interesting point. While the details are fundamentally different from an outside perspective:

Saren was allied with the Geth/Krogan and had a Rachni army.

Most Shepard's now have Geth/Krogan and Rachni allies.

Also looking forward to the Relationship continuing with Ashley in the 3rd. I didnt sleep with anyone on my first playthrough.

I didn't have any relationships in my first playthrough. Just casual sex. Chambers and whats-her-face...uh, Jack.

I lost one on the final mission. It was devasting. Re-playing the game to see just how I can screw up and manage to get everyone around me killed is going to be interesting. That and watching my Shep's face fall apart and look more and more like a Terminator.

I read a nice little diddy in the new Game Informer by the editor-in-chief. I'll post a direct quote later, but I thought he made a nice point in how Mass Effect 2 has changed the landscape of how he will play this and the next sequel. By making the decisions he made in a game back in 2007, now matter in a game in 2010. Changing how he'll play it, because he (and I'm uncluded in this as well) will replay ME1, and then play ME2...and will probably play ME1, then ME2, and then ME3 in a consecutive manner to see the different outcomes that can be played around with.

People have been talking about this character since the game was released, possibly before. She is heavily rumored to be a DLC character like Zaeed.

Well if you look of when you select her, and she almost reminds me of Visas Marr from KOTOR 2.

I dunno...I'd have to learn more about her backstory and stuff. I would have told you that Jack would have been a horrible character if I had just judged her on what she looked alone. But, she was a well done character. Hell, they all are.

Mass Effect 2 does a nice little thing with the characters by making all the characters pretty ****ed up. The hood on her makes her look interesting though.

Holy venereal diseases....I just got this. I forgot, honestly forgot how amazing, butt ****ing amazing the cinematography is in the cut scenes.

They could show Shepard walking into a room and I'd be like -----> WUT

I popped it in, and before I knew it, I logged 11 hours. Good god, I also forgot my love/hate relationship with this game. I literally do nothing while I play it.


My only gripe so far, the AI seems more annoying, for example, when they're firing perfectly behind cover, they always----always----feel the need to run out and eat some gunfire. Why??

I know I'm going to have different save files so I can get with Jack, Miranda, Tali, and then stay faithful to Ashley. God, that sounds so pathetic, but damn you Bioware, this game is indeed a real addiction.:heart:

Insanity is fun. Rather than the trying-patience-fest that was Insanity in ME1, Insanity in ME2 actually makes for some challenge.

By comparison, it makes all the easy enemies that much harder, due to them having Shields or Barriers or Armor in addition to the normal Health. And they have more HP, and do more damage. Equally by comparison, it makes krogan and heavy mechs all the easier, because while they do more damage, they don't have extra levels of protection beyond what they'd normally have.

That said, I'm rolling with Miranda and Garrus. Armor-Piercing Ammo, Overloads, and Warp!

Insanity is a bit too hard for me but I agree that they took it in the right direction this time. There was nothing hard about the last one's Insane mode, everyone just had a ton of health + immunity.

I died five times during the first battle on Freedom's Progress until it all finally clicked for me. Since then I've only died once, and that was because I charged an enemy when I should've ducked.

Class matters quite a bit on Insanity, I figure. Biotics are useless for the most part.

Im playing through as a soldier now, first time since i first played the first game....every other playthrough ive had biotics of some sort and ive forgotten how much I love shooting things in the face

I like the Soldier class a lot. I'm not as big a fan of Infiltrator as I wanted to be, because I deem AI Hacking a useless skill.

I'm a huge fan of the Vanguard.
