I never said you did, but lessening your excitement for something and then disliking many of the elements you posted based on the review are negative reactions, no? You can be negative on certain things without taking down the game as a whole

I said that my excitement was lessened and then explained why when asked. I did not say that that game was bad, that the reveiw was bad, that the reveiw made me not want the game, or that 9.5 was a bad score.

You're a Bad Man, and Baby Jesus is crying because of you. :cmad:

The review looked great.

I'm fine with the lack of looting, because looting became a headache at times in ME1.

The inventory was poor in ME 1 but I would have preferred they FIXED it rather than shoot the thing in the head and leave it behind a shed.

well until we actually play it and see how it works for ourselves, im not gonna complain about anything.

i just hope when looking at the galaxy map u can also view your missions and assignments without having to exit it and ****, god that was annoying,

Well it goes with the whole toning down of the rpg elements, for example I read recently you no longer get xp for killing baddies but instead for completing quests.

Casey Hudson confirmed in a bestbuy.com chat that you do get experience for kills, and for a myriad of other things. You just get tons more experience for completing missions.

"Where Mass Effect 2 completely won me over was in the amazing climacitc mission, easily one of the best game endings i've played in recent years."

!! I can't believe I ever doubted Bioware. :o

I was right about the level cap being in combination with the character development. Cool. It's almost heere!!

Pre Ordered it today, but forgot about the SE, how much more is it? I might switch.

I just started playing the first one on my computer. Pretty cool so far.

Yeah, seemed like a no-brainer too.

I think the CE/SE cover is alot cooler looking than every regular edition cover art I've seen floating around.

I agree that the inventory system was horrible, but I think that the looting wasn't good enough either. I thought the game could easily get by with only using the 'shops' on the stations and on the normandy and citadel. The medi-gel loot was nice, though. As was the omni-gel stuff too. That had me warming up to the games looting a bit more.

Then again, I don't know how else I could build up credit. Did the review mention how we come by credits in ME2?

They just needed to cut down on the crap we pick up. No, I don't need nineteen different pistols, especial crap ones at that.

Anyway, I always get the regular versions. I'm a cheap bastard that way. :p

lol 15 pistols, wow. I like having lots of choices though. Anyone know how deep the customization into our character's look is?

The official site has details and pics of some of the Armors available in the game, including the Blood Dragon armor, Collector's armor and the pre-order armors.

EDIT: They show a little bit of the armor customization, which looks cool and at the end they show Ashley (it appears to be from the beginning of the game).

I'm glad I preordered at Amazon. I like the look of that Inferno Armor a lot more than the others. Except the N7 armor.

I still say the facial model is off but... um....

Little has spilled out regarding BioWare's DLC plans for Mass Effect 2 but yesterday, via Twitter, the studio indicated there will be launch-day DLC and it won't cost anything. "Addressing rumors: BioWare will not be charging extra for any new Mass Effect 2 content on launch day. More DLC details next week," says the tweet.
Earlier reports had Mass Effect 2 planning a slew of downloadable content, although timing was mentioned for none of it. I suppose that we shall find what the deal is this week. We'd better, the game itself releases in just nine days.

Probably will be free for awhile and then charged later down the line aimed to recoup from people who buy used copies.
