I really want to upgrade the medbay...just because, I know all it really does is heel your scars and since I'm near a perfect paragon it's kinda pointless but maaaaan, I scan for hours and barely find any platinum...and that's what's required to up grade it. I have enough of everything else (minus element zero) to sink a Turrian cruiser!

I ran into a part of the game that has made me restart a few times...

Thane's loyalty quest where you follow that Torrian...that get's slightly agravating. I follow him until he reaches the bar...and then he and his body gaurd vanish.

Just got the game today, can't wait to play. Don't know what class I'm gonna pick though, I'm torn between Sentinel and Vanguard. Which is better?

I tried out Vanguard for a little bit originally and didn't really care for it all that much....the charge was fun but if you're playing it on the harder levels have fun getting out of those awkward situations it puts you in, lol.

Yeah I was thinking that. I'm leaning towards Sentinel. What biotic powers do ya get with each?

You get Throw and Warp with Sentinel.

I found platinum in some of the outlying planets near Zaeeds side quest and around Illium...on Thanes quest you just have to follow the catwalks towards the next open area...if you come across a room with a guy in it hiding, you're going the right way

So I'm a Vanguard, and I like how the Biotic powers are actually useful in the game this time. I decided to go with Miranda's Slam ability, because I felt it went best with my Biotic ability's, and damn is it good.
My team consists of Jacob and Tali now. I like how the two returning characters from the first game were my least fave from the first, but now they're frickin' AWESOME!

I play as Vanguard too and the biotics are useful in the first game once you juice them up a bit, I use Lift and Barrier quite a bit

Is anyone else playing on an old TV (like, i mean not plasma or LCD)? Is type too small for you too?

Yeah, I got Thade's quest finished as soon as I opened my eyes a little bit, not sure what I was doing but it was stupid.

I have an HDTV but I've read that if you're playing ME2 on a standard TV it's very hard to read.

Hey I was wondering I beat the game where I had an ending with the council dying. But I also have another save same character where they live. Mass Effect 2 is only letting me pick the save where they die but not where they live. Is there any way to pick the other save ?

So I just had Mordin sing Gilbert and Sullivan for me. But Shepard didn't even react, he just went onto the next question. It was hilarious!

I think Shep was stunned by the awesomeness of it. I wish he sang during BATTLE.

I just had to call Miranda off of Jack (why is she named Jack? I hope that's explained) and now she's being all PMS-ey and not talking to me, lol. She was telliing ol' Shep about meeting up in his cabin and now she's all like "waaaaah, you stood against me when I was being a beeyotch...screw you!"

I just entered the suicide mission. so far everyone has lived, but I'm worried about legion because I didn't make him loyal... If they're loyal, the better chance they have of surviving. There's a reason why I didn't make him loyal... HEAVY SPOILERS!

As I was about to do his loyalty mission, the Normandy was attacked and the crew was taken. If you don't go after them right away, they get liquified and die. I couldn't let that happen to the Doctor and Kelly.

Yeah that was crazy. My team wasn't ready, Legion's loyalty wasn't at max so I held off.

I've read that your team doesn't have to be completely loyal to you to survive. It depends on other choices you make end game and more based on your ship upgrades.

Which is good, because I apparently pissed Miranda off so bad that she's now no longer loyal to Shepard. Ah well, Tali just confessed her love for her Captain so we'll see how that goes, lol.

Heh, I believe the loyalty helps them survive certain situations but iirc it isn't the only factor involved depending on what you do. Certainly if you've got more than 1 at not max loyalty then I imagine it wouldn't go well.

I just beat the game... I didn't breathe the entire time... I was afraid of people dying so much...

Ah, possible. I was thinking that her name was Jacqueline and everyone just called her Jack for short.
