Awesome. I was planning on buying Overlord and Shadow Broker soon anyway.

Too bad I already bought them months ago. :o

About how much space does the DLC fill on the hard drive for this?

As it should be. We've had some good releases in the year (I'm currently wandering around New Vegas) but ME2 topped all of them.

Sweet.

Now gimme an announcement for new DLC, Bioware!

And get the effing price on Dragon Age 2 PC back to $50!

There's more DLC planned for ME 2? I kind of figured "Lair of the Shadow Broker" would be it.

lol no corp he's just saying he wants more. Also I think the wan'ts some more missions to invest in he can have some things for his new found agents to do since shadow broker dropped. though I don't remember them saying that was the last I don't we'll see anything til ME3. right now i don't got the disc space for more.

Of course there's more ME2 DLC coming. DAO DLC is at an end. "Lair of the Shadow Broker" was just the first part of "Mass Effect 2.5."

This isn't the first time I've explained this, darnit, Corp. Pay attention!

dang it I'm in a beta for some thing else right now . oh well I can wait to buy themme 2 DLC's then. man I really do need a larger hard drive.

Yeah, there will definitely be more DLC. Lair of the Shadow Broker was the beginning of an inter-game story arc.

Whatever, you're assuming I pay attention to you. :o

Just so everybody knows from what I'm hearing on the net, with the release of a book and a comic, between ME2 and 3:

Anderson's resigned from his position as Councilor in Retribution (book) and Udina's taken over.

In Inquisition, its implied that Udina sets up Executor Pallin of C-Sec for the murder of two officers and uses Bailey to kill him so that he can install a human as the new lead of C-Sec.

You can spy on Udina and Bailey from the spy module in Lair of the Shadow Broker.

The "seamless introduction" which will ease PS3 owners into the rich backstory of Mass Effect 2, first hinted at when the game was announced this past August, may have been recently uncovered in the BioWare Social Network forums. A moderator recently posted a quote from BioWare's Casey Hudson from the latest issue of German gaming mag Play3, in which he reveals the PS3 version of the game will have an interactive comic from Dark Horse which lets players make the big decisions from the first game while quickly seeing how those decisions play out.

The forum post also claims that Hudson confirmed the PS3 version of the game will come with the game's three main expansions, "Kasumi's Stolen Memory," "Overlord" and "Lair of the Shadow Broker," and will include a voucher to download all the content currently available on the Cerberus network. Finally, the post quotes Hudson as saying the game will include an exclusive mission which clocks in at around six hours in length.

Sounds like a pretty tall order for the game's PS3 port. We've contacted BioWare to see if they'll comment on the post's legitimacy.

Well, if this ends up being the solution, it won't be as good and satisfying as doing the missions in full in the actual game, but it's certainly a good enough way to get around losing all of that and beginning fresh halfway through the story.

Just what I was worried about; PS3 exclusive content. Those of us who bought the game for the PC or 360, of course, get shafted--and when the sequel comes out, it's a safe bet there'll be exclusive content for both platforms, screwing you out of content no matter which you choose.

Edit: Ah, looks like my whining was premature. From the Bioware forums:
I want also to touch on the '6 hour exclusive mission'. This I believe is a communication error lost in translation. When we talk about 6 hours of content we are talking about what's included exclusively "On Disc" (Kasumi, Shadow Broker, Overlord), The Interactive Back Story and the Cerberus Network Access.

So PS3 owners just get the DLC for free.

I would kind of like to see this Interactive Comic thing just to see how it looks and plays out and such, but if that's the only real exclusive, I can live with that I think.
