I definitely think upskirt photos should be illegal. If someone is scantily clad and someone else catches a glimpse of something, that's one thing. Sticking a camera under someone's crotch is quite different and should be illegal. Personally, I would never go commando in public because people are perverts and can't be trusted. Just thinking about upskirt photos makes me never want to wear a skirt again.

Apologies to you and Teelie for the way I stated that, didn't mean to inadvertently propagate that sort of permissive attitude.
I only look if there is something to be seen, I wont drop down and feign push-ups to look up a skirt or get on my tippy toes to angle a look down a blouse and I most certainly don't condone the invasive use of cameras to rob someone of their privacy.

I'm just not apologetic for looking at what has carelessly been put at risk of exposure.

Word to the wise, even if it's legal in a sense, I highly do not recommend actually doing this. A supervisor at work had his son arrested, and this is why. What he thought was a 20ish pretty girl he took an upskirt picture of, was actually a 13 year old, and was waiting at the airport with her cop father. The kid is now doing 25 years for possessing child porn. Don't be dumb, and disrespectful, treat people how you would want to be treated, because you never know when karma might come back and bite you!

That seems extreme to me for him to get 25 years but he definitely should have gotten some kind of jail time for it. And as an added bonus when he gets out of prison he gets to be listed as a sex offending pedophile for life.

Not sure if the guy is just trying to save face by claiming he had mistaken a 13 year old for a 20 year old, it can be ambiguous.
Fact remains he was being a nasty creep but is that enough to justify years of rape and beatings and then having the rest of his life ruined by being registered as a pedophile?
Pretty sure once your in the system as one of those neighbours chase you out of every town you try to settle in, they vandalize your home, threaten your life, beat the **** out of you whenever they see you out and about.

I honestly don't think there is a cure other than castration for pedophiles but this guy might have just been a misguided pervert.

Twenty-five years in prison and a ruined life and being forever registered a sex offender is a bit much in context of what he did. He needed his ass beat, hell maybe a few times, but that would have been more than adequate.

Ya know sometimes I wonder if we shouldn't bring back public lashings or lashings in private as an alternative to incarceration in some cases. Some people just need a good whipping. Not sure how I feel about lashing females criminals tho. Male or female, there would need to be very strict guidelines, and infections and the person's physical health would need to be kept in mind.

Yeah, well, it is the story from a coworker from a poster, we don't have all the facts but in this case it looks more like Zero Intelligence.
Even criminals that killed someone don't get 25 years here....

There are plenty of reliable stories of "zero tolerance" policies gone wrong. Recently a child at an elementary school was suspended for using his fingers like a gun. Merely the shape of a gun will get you suspended. Stupid **** like this guy taking an upskirt photo and getting 25 years and a pedophile label aren't out of the range of believability.
