sound about right. i know at launch im picking up excite truck, red steel, and posibly elebits. and call of duty and zelda shortly after.

games that didnt make his top ten i want, mostly 3rd party stuff. marvel A U is on top of that list for me

I have 5 of those pre-ordered, and I was thinking about going back and pre-ordering Rayman and Call of Duty. I'm waiting for reviews on Trauma Center and Elebits before I make a move, and NFL Madden 07 just doesn't appeal to me... although I'll likely rent it.

The only other game I have pre-ordered that's not on there is Need for Speed: Carbon.

1.) Zelda
2.) Red Steel
3.) Wii Sports
4.) Excite Truck
5.) Trauma Center: Second Opinion

Those are the only 5 I'm interested in. In order, also.

Oddly enough, Twilight Princess is the only game up there that's a must have, the rest aren't even close, and that's through-and-through Nintendo.

Yeah, if they were anthing like Microsoft they would have just put out a bunch of **** games for launch so people would mostly buy non-exclusive titles.

Aw, just like Xbox 360 has really had only three stand out games right now, two of which have or will be PORTED (Call of Duty 2, Oblivion and the only exclusive in Dead Rising). Sorry 360 has had a full year and Nintendo has already matched has already matched in the exclusivity department and is getting the same great ports with slightly less graphics (Call of Duty 3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, etc.) and I wouldn't count Red Steel out either though.

The thing about the Wii is that it seems that practically every game looks good, many even great, but LoZ is the only one that actually is must have. And I classify must have is something that everyone who owns a wii needs. Everyone. Not simply getting a 9. This is a game thats required.

Everyone should have Twilight Pricess. EVERYONE. All 6.5 Billion people on Earth should have it.

TP is the only game I have on pre-order (which is actually a little ironic, as I don't even have a guranteed system). That & Wii Sports should tide me over until I have time to rent Red Steel/Madden 07.

I don't think you will need to worry about not getting a Wii. I haven't preordered it either.

Nintendo has lost 40% of it's fanbase every generation since the NES.

Oh, sucks for the Wii. :word:

Yeah, except by the end of the year it will have sold almost as many systems as the 360, so what's that say for Microsoft? Personally I think the first two years won't mean much as it is the hardcore fanbases. Most are staying away because the 360 and PS3 are TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE right now. Once the prices go down and more games come out then the war will be decided in a few years probably. EXCEPT if Wii manages to win over enough mainstream with their relatively cheap price and new gaming style, then developers will start making more games (and just not regular ports) for Wii. Then the market could change quite a bit.

BUT on the other hand maybe only the Nintendo hardcore will buy it and next holiday season it won't sell well and 3rd parties will desert it and it will die faster than Gamecube. Only time will tell. But this time Nintendo stands a chance, something I never said about Gamecube (or cared much about either though).

We'll see.
