Really liked the first two and I am really looking forward to this one.

Unfortunately, it appears as though actor Dylan O’Brien’s injuries suffered on the set of Maze Runner: The Death Cure are worse than initially believed. Production shut down last month after O’Brien was pulled off a vehicle unexpectedly and then hit by another vehicle during filming. The actor suffered serious injuries, including “concussion, facial fracture, and lacerations,” and filming was halted with the intention to resume once O’Brien recovered. 20th Century Fox had set May 9th as the date that filming was to resume, but now THR reports that cast and crew have been sent home as filming has been postponed for the foreseeable future.

Per THR, a new start-date for production will depend on “O’Brien’s recovery and the ability to reassemble the large cast and crew,” with sources adding that the actor’s injuries are worse than they initially believed.

That initial restart date sounded much too soon; always felt the injuries were more serious than were led to believe. Hope he heals well.

That headline title is clickbait. Being temporarily removed from release schedule and will be re-scheduled due to actor getting injured doesn't mean delayed indefinitely. That term means it's canceled.

‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ Release Moved To 2018 As Dylan O’Brien Recovers

A month after shutting down production on the film, Fox has officially rescheduled the theatrical release of Maze Runner: The Death Cure to January 12, 2018.

Originally set for release February 17, 2017, production on the film was temporarily stopped March 28 after star Dylan O’Brien was injured during the filming of a stunt. Conflicting reports as to the full extend of O’Brien’s injuries soon emerged, but on April 29 Fox halted the production indefinitely to give him time to recover. No date for when production will resume has been announced.

It is the last one. Wes Ball was adamant about Death Cure not being split into two films, and Fox was fine with that.
