McDonalds hate their customers which is why they make their coffee scalding hot. Ronald wants to punish people for buying their crappy coffee by burning out their vocal cords.

Oh that's good to hear! I heard rumors that Ronald was in rehab because he was hooked on chicken McNuggets. I don't know if there's any truth to that though.

In France we only have two franchises, McDo and Quick, so if you want a burger you don't have many choices ( unless you fork 17€ on a restaurant burger ).
We also don't have the equivalent of the dollar menu. The cheapest burger they sold is 1,60€ ( cheeseburger ).
Note : I think French McDo is less bland than US McDo but I could be mistaken.

Besides the numerous domestic burger chains in the UK we have American chains like McDonalds, Burger King, Five Guys, Shake Shack and there was a pop up in in-n-out burger last year in London.
