McDonlad's Lego Batman

One of the toys are pretty cool. Definitely want to get a Batmobile, Batman Batarang and Joker's Surprise.
 
Got the Joker helicopter today with lunch. The guy behind the counter wasn't much help though: I asked him if they only gave away specific toys each week or if it was completely random over the course of the promotion. He just looked at me and repeated that the boy's meal came with Batman and the girl's with some Wizard of Oz toy :huh:. Guess I'll have to try another McD's this week. :woot:
 
I got my joker lego toy from Mcdonalds. I kinda had to pull teeth to get it though. They had to go into the back and get one cause I asked. I know you can buy the toys seperate or you can buy the whole set.

i really wantta joker one. I got a batman today and i asked the guy if i could have a joker one and he was like no whatever is in the bag is what you get. I was like daaaammmmnnn. what a prick!
wait you can by the whole set? does anyone know how much they cost???
 
My guy was actually extremely helpful. He went digging through bags to find the two different toys for me.

He said they get the toys in two at a time, and told me the next shipment of toys will be coming in on Tuesday. Not sure if that is the same for all McDonalds, but it's worth a try I suppose.
 
Last time I was in there they had Star Wars toys. I had no idea they would be promoting Batman. I guess I'm having Mcdonalds for the next few weeks. I'm going to try and get a Joker toy. How much do individual toys/sets cost?
 
I think they charged me $1.83 a piece. I just bought a value meal and two toys and it came out to just over $9 total.
 
On Wednesday I got #1 and 2, pretty cool. :D I really want the non-vehicle characters though, especially joker. Funny thing, my friend said he wanted a set so I went to a McDonald's I happened to stop by, asked for Happy Meal toys and said I also wanted a coffee. The girl charges me for the coffee only and I even pointed at the toy "And this too" but she just said "Yeah okay" but she still didn't charge me for the toy so I just grabbed it and walked away. :oldrazz: Not my problem anyways.

Anyways...anyone know what #3 and 4 are? I'm going to stop by tomorrow since there's a McD near my school.
 
I was only able to get 3 & 4 yesterday from my McD's. #3 is Batman & #4 is Mr.Freeze, Batman comes with a cutout of Two-Face. The guy said those where the first ones they got.
 
My wife's kid sister works at McDonalds, she's going to grab them for me.

You'd be surprised the collection some of the McDonalds employee's have of Happy Meal toys. My mother in law is the McD's manager and has a collection spanning 9 years. It's crazy.

She has them all in boxes in the bags she got them in. I'm betting there are people who would pay a good deal of money for them on ebay.
 
Hmm, the one near my school pulled all the Batman and Wizard of Oz stuff for some reason...I think they're probably trying to sell the Star Wars ones first? It's kind of weird since I bought #1 and 2 last Wednesday from them...
 
When I worked at McDonald's ( 3 years ago) it seemed that to buy the toy was almost as much as the happy meal itself. I guess it's changed, but I'll still p[robably get the food with the toy.

Anybody know when they started this boy/girl toy thing? It didn't seem like the sexes were so divided when I was a kid. What if little girls like batman too?
 
The other night when I went, I bought the value meal with two cheeseburgers, and two toys on the side and it came out to just under $9.

Today I bought a kids meal and two cheeseburgers and it was just over $5. So yeah, you might as well just get the kids meal if you want the toys.
 
Hmm true, better than buying a regular meal I guess. When I get #3/4 I'll just buy the meal + 1 extra toy. :S

they've done it for quite some time, really. but usually when you order, the cashier will ask "Boy Happy Meal" or "Girl Happy Meal." so unless the cashier is a bonehead, you shouldn't be getting a Barbie if you want a Batman.
 
Hard to believe but the 2 McD's closest to my school don't have any of these anymore, it's weird. Not sure exactly what's up. :S
 
Got #3/4, they're so neat. :D I like them way better than the vehicles.
 
picked up lunch today and got #3 and #4. The Batman toy is great, makes me laugh throwing the batarang at the Two-Face cut-out. :woot:

So to review...
#1 - Bat boat
#2 - Joker copter
#3 - Batman w/batarang
#4 - Freeze w/freeze gun

They said #3 and #4 we're all they had for this week and to check back next week for more. Hoping to snag a lego Joker soon. :joker:
