MCU Fight: Black Panther vs Iron Fist

As for this fight of T'Challa/Black Panther vs Danny Rand/Iron Fist who wins?

Haven't seen much Iron Fist, but it looks like his chi powers are more extensive than the comic book version.

Having said that MCU BP is on a similar superhuman level to Cap (given that he was able to run as fast as Bucky, take hits from and fight off Bucky's bionic arm ), if you add the vibranium mesh suit, I don't think IF could actually hurt him.

Then factor in BP's skill level (again comparable to Cap) and he's got a clear advantage.

Without BP's suit, the fight might be a lot closer, but with the suit I'd say BP takes this one handily - if it's a fight to the death, vibranium claws would shred IF.

Ehh.. . no, the Netflix version is kind of lame in that regard. The comic version is a chi-amped martial artist who can keep pace with Spider-man *without* using the Iron Fist. And that was back in the 70s-80s, before the Immortal Iron Fist series and his much greater understanding of his powers.

Anyway, Black Panther takes this, and without too much difficulty. He's an all around Cap-level superhuman, with a vibranium suit that gives a great deal of durability. Danny *might* be able to do something to him with the Fist, but I can't see it actually putting T'Challa down lastingly. And honestly, he probably isn't even going to hit before T'Challa wallops him.

I'd love to say Iron Fist but the one we saw in his series could not beat Black Panther. He hasn't mastered his chi and could barely use the iron fist when needed. BP with or without the suit takes it every single time.

Without the suit Iron Fist could make Black Panther's skull go splat. Hard to know what to make of vibranium because the explanation in the MCU makes absolutely no sense.

Eh, without the suit, T'Challa is still Captain America-durable, and the best we've seen from Danny's Iron Fist is. . . still not *that* good. Plus, T'challa isn't going to stand there and let Danny punch him, and T'Challa is faster anyway.

Basically, even without the suit, this basically goes "T'Challa hits Danny, Danny hits the ground". I mean, it might take more than one hit, but that is zero obstacle.

So, we typically have an entire system Surfer, BT, and I use for these weekly MCU fights. One of us will post a fight on Sunday and it stays open for a week. We collaborate over the weekend, and all agree to the fight before it is posted.. and we keep the formatting as consistent as possible. But we are doing one fight per week, that way we can get all the results possible. It's a collaborative project between the three of us.
