I love the MCU but in my heart I’m a DC fan. I love the iconography of the Justice League and would love to see a quick team up onscreen with some Justice League analogs from the MCU. What would your team be? Even though some of these characters haven’t been cast yet, my team would be:

Superman / Captain America
Batman / Daredevil
Wonder Woman / Storm
The Flash / Spider-Man
Green Lantern / Nova
Aquaman / Namor
Martian Manhunter / Silver Surfer

Taking it beyond the big 7:

Plastic Man / Mister Fantastic
Green Arrow / Hawkeye
Black Canary / Black Widow
The Atom / Ant-Man
Hawkman / Angel
Red Tornado / Vision
Zatanna / Scarlet Witch
Doctor Fate / Doctor Strange
Firestorm / Human Torch
Captain Marvel / Captain Marvel
Cyborg / Deathlok
Steel / War Machine

The Atom / Ant-Man
While The Atom / Ant-Man makes the most sense.

I always preferred the analog couple dynamic:
Hawkman & Hawkwoman / Ant-Man & Wasp

Also displaced deities
Wonder Woman / Thor (yeah sorry Thor fans, she is your analog, you need to take it as a compliment)

Batman / Daredevil
Also makes sence, yet I prefer the no "real superpowers" $elf made heroes among gods parallel (especially the more hi-tech Batman becomes)
Batman / Iron-Man

The Flash / Spider-Man
You are going to make Quicksilver cry:funny:
Although you are likley going more off personality, and the good quipage game.:cwink:

I'd love to see Disney and WB team up for a one-time epic Avengers vs JL film. Pool resources and give this thing like a $500 million budget. Split profits. I can't imagine how it wouldn't do $3 billion worldwide easily, post-pandemic of course...

I know it's a pipe dream but it's on my bucket list :yay:

Superman / Hyperion
Batman / Nighthawk
Wonder Woman / Power Princess Zarda or Thundra
The Flash / Whizzer or Blur or Speed Demon or Boundless
Green Lantern / Doctor Spectrum
Aquaman / Amphibian
Martian Manhunter / Skymax

Taking it beyond the big 7:

Plastic Man / Shape
Green Arrow / Black Archer
Black Canary / Skylark
The Atom / Tom Thumb
Hawkman / Blue Eagle
Zatanna / Arcanna or Moonglow
Doctor Fate / Professor Imam or Norn
Firestorm / Nuke
Captain Marvel / Miracleman

We're in the multiverse now. Bring on the Squadron

Everyone remembers the Squadron Supreme.
Yet never the Assemblers - Champions of Angor.:funny:
Introduced at the same time, in response.

Marvel got allot more cache out of exploiting blatant JLA analogs, than DC ever did (or wanted) out of Avengers analogs.

Marvel even did Avengers and Fantastic Four analogs themselves within the world of their Supreme Power version the Squadron

I'd love to see a DC and Marvel film crossover.
My top 3 favorite heroes are Batman, Superman, and Spiderman .

Of course, there would be fans against it, but it would make a googillion dollars at the box office :funny:.

When the universe allowed such things...

Amalgam U and JLA/Avengers likely the last time that was possible (and that was simple print media), what these characters properties are now worth on film, most the money would go to the lawyers hammering out the licence and contract.:funny:
At this point short of Disney buying DC/WB outright, it's not happening.
And they don't even need it, as indicted they can (and likely will inevitably) trot out the Justice Squadron Supreme.
And hysterically have a proper JL Mag 7 on screen before DC ever does.

It makes a certain amount of sense: the JLA were icons already, while Marvel as a whole were still the young upcomers ( and their more iconic characters weren't generally Avengers anyway ). OTOH, it is kind of embarrassing ( to DC ) the degree that Marvel continued to use the Squadron Supreme to tell good stories, completely unrelated to their origin as a simple riff on DC.
