Looks alright, what I can see of it. However I'm willing to bet, most here, like myself, will probably pass, having already spent a bundle on the HT version. (and in my case, the DCD one as well.)

The only Medicom Batman figure I would consider getting is the Begins suit version as the HT one seems to be almost impossible to find at a reasonable price.

That's not the new shots. Thats the old prototype.
Which proves only that the production model does not appear to differ significantly from the prototype (as some had rushed to assume).

Well, we can't really see much of the fig to compare. Can't see if they corrected the eye colour. Can't see if they have beefed up the chest or not that so many had said on other forums. Can't see the cowl properly due to the bad lighting and the fact the head is facing down somewhat. Can't see the neck.

But what you can see does not appear to differ significantly from the prototype... to dismiss the production pic based on some assumed comparison to the prototype is jumping to conclusions at this point.

Wow, I think with the announcement of HOTTOYS MMS2 TDK Batman figure, MEDICOM is going to take a huge blow. Their re-release of the Begin's Batman didn't seem to sell, Joker, and Two-Face, are all still on pre-order in most places and don't seem to be getting very many buyers.

HOTTOY has pre-orders that have sold out.

I am hoping we get the new HT TDK Batman this 4th quarter. Who knows, maybe MEDICOM still won't have released theirs by then.

I am positive that releasing a newer version of Batman was somewhat influenced by the fact that MEDICOM was coming out with their TDK Batman. HOTTOYS is literally giving MEDICOM no room to breathe.

I guess we should be thanking MEDICOM, they are making HOTTOYS bring out their A game.

Well now, this is turning out to be interesting after all... not nearly as much a slam dunk for HT as I might have thought.

What is this you speak of?

I can't really tell the difference between Hot Toys and Medicom's Batman. They pretty much look exactly the same.

It arrived this morning. \o/

The belt isn't all that bad compared to some pics posted. The stomach seems a pain to futz for getting that dent away. As it keeps on bouncing back into it's regular position.

I can't get over how slender this fig is.

It's still taller than Iron Man maybe about half a centimeter on it's thinner stand compared to Hot Toys stands, the ears anyway. Yet I still have him somewhat leaning back.

I think I might do the mods at a later date. Neck and head. First I want to make sure I know everything thats to be done, and get the right paint for the skin tone and such before anything drastic is done. Especially don't want to start it having just owning it.

I'll need to make sure I've done all the research there is. Definitely don't want to ruin it.
