"Mel Gibson was offered the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face, but was forced to turn it down due to scheduling conflicts with Braveheart (1995)."

When I read this I wish that it became true and Gibson was great actor and still is. I would liked to see how Gibson would have done with the role.

What do you think?

If it were going according to the true origin and demeanor of HarveyDent/Twoface, yes it would have been pretty awesome. The way the character was written in this film, nobody in the world could have saved it!

Mel would've kicked ass as Two-Face. I still maintain that Tommy Lee was not right for the part. H'es too much of a "Southern Gentleman" type of guy and doesn't really give off the vibe need for Harvey Dent.

Of course, my dream choice for Dent was always Pacino, but he was too old even aaround the time of Forever. :(

I watched The Man Without a Face and he was great in it and look at this:

I want to see that one day. That kid is Nick Stahl, who played That Yellow Bastard in Sin City.

Yes, it could have worked, not with that depiction though.

Gibson is a pretty bleh actor in my opinion. He's done a few good roles (Man Without a Face, Million Dollar Hotel, Lethal Weapon), but I don't think he's (or would have been) right at all for Two-Face

I think Ray Liotta could been perfect as Two-Face in BF. If WB make DKR movie I could see Liotta as Two-Face in the movie.

Nah, Liotta should be Sal Maroni in BB2.

I could see Gibson as Two-Face... I'm fairly certain he'd have done better than Tommy Lee.

I can only imagine how different Tommy Lee Jones' performance would have been if the film hadn't been made out so goofy when it came to the villains.

Gibson probably would have made a fine Two-Face.
