Not many films have them these days, kind of a lost art, but i do like a good opening credit sequence. David Fincher seems to love them. A couple of my favourites.

I'm disappointed that most action films don't have opening titles anymore. :(

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) and Red Dragon.

Spider-man 2
Superman '78
Game of Death (R.I.P John Barry)
Friday the 13th Part 4

We were just talking about this film in the scores thread, but Once Upon a Time in the West. It contains probably my pick for the best opening scene in film history, which includes the credits.

If you are looking for a specific title sequence separate from the actual film, then my pick for the best goes to The Spy Who Loved Me, the best of the James Bond title sequences.

Special mention goes to the Naked Gun series. I love those opening credit sequences.

Good choices in this thread. I'm one of those guys that loves some good opening credits. It's refreshing these days to see one since many films opt for the title card.
