Metal Gear Wii

I have this feeling that we may get a re-make of MGS2 on the Wii. Just with snake popping up in brawl and being in the MGS suit. Plus the fact people will get to play as Raiden with the sword just seems very possible to me after Twin snakes on the GC.

Any thoughts?

Twin Snakes did bad in sales on the Gamecube. I dont see Konami making another remake for a Nintendo platform. Besides, I dont really see a need to remake the game at this point. Not to mention that MGS2 was the game that fans had the most issues with

Metal Gear isn't going to the Wii. When Kojima makes a Wii game, it'll be a franchise developed especially for the Wii.

Indeed, this is not the first time someone has mentioned a MGS2 remake.

One it is by no means old enough to warrant a remake and two just does not need one.

Twin Snakes was a good remake as it really did improve in the graphics.

I loved Twin Snakes as well. It actually made it hard when I tried to go back and play the original MGS since now it looks so ugly and feels so clunky in comparison.

Kojima isn't very fond of remakes and about the only reason he agreed to remake Twin Snake was because he wanted to work with his hero, Shigeru Miyamoto

there's always a possibility for another Metal Gear game on a Nintendo system, but i don't think Snake being in SSBB should be taken as that.

I think they've been rather restrained in ****ing out MGS.

They gave the GC and the Xbox a whirl, but they've stuck with Sony.

That MGS touch could be reaching too far though.

So...Twin Snakes was good? Been thinking of buying a gamecube just to play Twin Snakes.

TS is really good, yeah. Its great just to sit back and have a good time with because of all the ramped up cut scenes. But the MGS2 mechanics do make it even easier than the original.

I've seen some on youtube, and the part where Snake pulls a gun on Baker just because he forgot Meryl's codec frequency was....odd.

Oh damn, I came into this thread thinking that I must've missed some news about Metal Gear on the Wii.

I wouldn't mind seeing MGS on the Wii or anything, but I would rather it be a spin-off or something as opposed to a remake or port. I wouldn't mind seeing a spin-off centered on Ninja Raiden

Yeah tha one of the weirder moments where you're like "Oooookay...".

But there are some simply EPIC fights. Some are insane, some are just stupid.

Grey Fox's voice sucks though.
