The first episode really did suck. The show gets better, though, so stick with it. The second episode is tolerable, but episodes 3 and up (5 episodes so far) are great.

I f**kin love this show! It's frickin hilarious and all the songs rock hard. I even have them on my ipod. Wish they'd release a full album. The first episode was the best though imo. Everything after was still gold though.

I'll be honest. I think this show sucks. It has a few funny moments (Murderface's gift being "nothing" and the bodybag as a puppet made me chuckle). But this show just isn't that funny. Damn catchy theme song though. Downloaded it off the myspace site.

This has to be the most brilliant show Brendon Small has come up with. I knew he did all the guitars for "Home Movies", but I didn't know he could shred like that! If you play guitar, he shows you how to play the theme song on the [adult swim] website. Just click on shows, and then Metalocalypse. It's the most metal thing ever...well, minus sticking lobsters in a boiling hot pot of water and watching it turn red and die.

I disagree. While the first one was definatly the best, DethTroll was a close second. Each episode is still funny, but it's a different kind of funny in each episode.

Okay, so I just saw a bunch of episodes for this.
and it's freaking Hilarious. mostly because It's so dead on to the whole "death metal" thing. ( the whole "blackest of black times infinity"thing still makes me chuckle)
so yeah, too bad this is (like always) on ****ing adult swin in the U.S. and not available in little old Mexico.

I thought the first episode was the weakest, actually. I think it's gotten better. I loved the Troll episode, and I've been a fan ever since. All the newer Adult Swim shows (Freak Squad, Assy McGee, Frisky Dingo, Moral Orel) pale in comparison.

I watched the first episode, didn't really find it funny. I'm also really sick and tired of all these lazy Flash cartoons. The only ones I can watch are Harvey Birdman (which actually uses Flash well) and Metalocalypse (which is funny enough to counteract some of the shortcomings of the animation).
