Michael Mann's Heat

Holy hell, did anyone else attend the 22nd anniversary theater re-release tonight? It was absolutely incredible! It started with a Q/A with Michael Mann...think it lasted about 20-40 minutes. Then they showed a remastered version of the film.

Honestly, words can not describe what it was like to experience this film in theaters. Everything was dialed up to an 11. The bank robbery scene was insane in theater surround sound and the ending, you literally felt like you were on the landing strip w/planes flying over head. The highlight though was seeing the final shot play out on the big screen. One of my all time favorite camera shots/put to Moby's "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters" was spectacular.

This was an incredible opportunity I got to share with my dad. Here's hoping some of you HEAT enthusiasts manage to catch it as well!

I would've if I lived in the States dude. But they're not releasing it into cinemas worldwide. I did pick up the Blu Ray though.
