Microsoft sued over Xbox Live outage.

For 50 bucks, you get a 4000 point card, which would be the same price if you used your credit card to buy 4000 points over xbox live.

How is that a ripoff

Because it's 50 bucks?

Used to buy ****ty gamer pictures and system backgrounds?

If you decide to blow all your points on picture sets and themes, instead of getting downloadable content for a game, or getting a game or 2 off of Live arcade, or getting a tv show from the marketplace, then Microsoft isn't to blame because of how you spent your points

Plaintiff: "Waah! I couldn't play Halo 3 online, so I started cutting myself! You broke my life!"

Seriously, some people are such total babies.

And if the same thing happened to Sony's online stuff, I'd respond the same way I am in response to what happened to Xbox live.
