Midi Keyboard help?

Hey,first off i dunno if this is in the right section so sorry if it isn't

So basically, i want a Midi keyboard for under £100 to do mostly drum tracks and maybe Audio samples ( if i figure out how to). but im very lost because theres a lot of stuff out there and i dunno if they come with the software i need or what?

any advice or recomendations?

those are MIDI controllers, they don't generate sounds, but you can trigger stuff coming from a workstation or MIDI keyboards

I used to generate my beats and samples from a couple of Korg Electribe synths, which then I would MIDI link the beat generator as a master of the tone generator and run from there to another controller

do you want to just do songwriting and production or are you looking forward to live performance?

nowadays, whenever I want to do samples and beats, I use reason or fruity loops or some other programs, then I mix in the computer and download the finished samples to an mp3 player, which is used to trigger all samples

although I still use the electribes and kaos padd and other stuff lying around if we are going to do a more improvisational set

it all depends on what you want to do
