The way he handled this was very unprofessional, and condescending. Ben Affleck received far worse backlash from his casting, and he has handled the response far better than Teller and Jordan have. Its important maintain an air professionalismin these kinds of matters, otherwise they lose the chance of ever changing people's opinions.

Yep. And then Ben let the material speak for itself, and it was GOOD.

I was absolutely on the fence about Ben, because I knew he could have the look and is a great actor when he wants to be, only making my decision once I saw him in the suit(and what it would look like). And it blew me away. And while there are still aspects about how Batman will be portrayed in this version I'm wary of, it's all shaping up well.

But all this? It's been bad since day one. Every choice they've made in regards to these characters has been bad.

I can sympathize to a point.

It's one thing to dislike everything you've seen come out of this production. It's even okay to dislike the choice of actors. But when comments turn personal and vindictive, that does cross the line into cyber-bullying territory - and I have seen personal insults made towards people involved in the production.

Obviously these filmmakers are grown adults, and are compensated very well for their work (good or bad). But while Teller could've handled his response better and maintained some air of professionalism, nobody should be expected to just shrug off and put up with personal attacks.

In the video, he clearly lost his cool at one point and tried recovering from it by saying that he doesn't care when people bully him. I got the impression that he does care.

I do agree he should have did what Ben Affleck did but Miles Teller is still very young. He should learn from this.

In the Twitter Age, every public figure is subject to these sort of personal attacks. I immensely dislike it, but it is the world we live in now. The only thing people can do is stay above the fray, which Teller (and Trank and Jordan) have most definitely not done.
