Would there be any mileage in a thread dedicated to missing footage?

Basically I am referring to things like:
a) Twin Towers trailer
b) trailer where he chases Ben's killer but in fully Spidey garb
c) The Times Square sequence where two kids watch Peter use his web-shooters and he does the "Shush!" sign
d) Times Square sequence where he actually cartwheels/somersaults over the wine-glass display just before Goblin punches back into said display- "Impressive", indeed.

Etc, etc.

Simply post the links.

A. Try Youtube.com.
B. I think you can only see it in the trailer.
C. TV spot on Spider-Man movie DVD.
D. Never heard of it.

D is mentioned in the production book, and they did film it because it shows pictures

is this something your looking for? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssdSlHLfDK4&search=spider-man%20%20scenes

For B. They just digitaly did the suit to show more Spidey action. Because in that particular scene he is wearing his wrestling uniform. And if you weren't a die-hard Spidey fan, and you were watching the trailer, you would wonder why he was wearing a different outfit. So they put in the spidey outfit instead. They often do that kind of stuff on trailers.

And I thought I was the only person who read it! It was also described in a feature in SFX magazine waaaaaayyyyy back early 2002.

Another scene (possibly not filmed):
After Peter shoots the web in the school canteen and then pulls the tray of food accidentally to Flash, there's a scene described where he runs to the toilet to inspect his web-shooters (organic!) before going back out into the hall where Flash catches up with him.

I've seen that scene during a making of featurette. I wasn't finalized footage though, just a brief 2-3 second glimps of the scene "being filmed".

Spidey's doing 'bout 4-5 consecutive back-flips and ends it with a backward somersault onto a table. I have the footage somewhere, I gotta remember exactly where I seen it though.

If anyone else knows or remembers, the scene at the festival where Spidey is running from GG on his glider, in the movie Spidey is JUST running then finally web-swings up onto one of those huge floats. If you've seen the behind the web making of the movie book, pics of the same exact scene are in the book BUT there is a pic of Spidey doing a flip while/during him fleeing from GG.

Whilst Spidey is running from the Goblin on his glider during the festival, a man falls across Spidey's path and Spidey saves him somehow. There are pictures of this in both the official book, and the official 2003 calender.

Does anyone have decent looking un used Swinging Footage from well anything that might be useable

The production book had a lot of stuff in, as well as storyboards of the extended GG/Spidey at the end.

Wow so they actually created Webshooter props. Why didn't they use them? And more so? Where are those props now? (sorry if that's been asked)

My question is: why didn't they have some sort of thing about the webshooters on the DVD? Maybe a deleted scene or something?

I wonder if they will ever show the deleted fight between Spidey and GG on the Twin Towers.

There isnt one and they felt that organic was better storywise.

Very good. Do you know you can play the score from the Spider-man DVD by putting it in a normal CD player?

A friendly Bump!

I read somewhere (I think it was SFX magazine) that there were no deleted scenes on the DVD because Raimi used all of what he filmed.

But my first post (as well as one lower down) shows that this is not really the case.

Also, I read that in the editing room, there were several different sequences involving the Thanksgiving dinner and Dafoe grunting/fitting in the elevator.

Er, my thread has disappeared. Can I bring it back so that suggestible folks can see ALL the missing footage?

once i saw on the net pictures of a trailer used on a convention, that i don't remember the name, but its something for theater owners, that has peter with the webshooters, and then has the scenes from that cgi test for spidey that appears on the DVD, and then some scenes that were used on the first teaser trailer(the one eith the twin towers).

i always thought the Spider-man "hush" scene would've been a cool touch for the flick... never understood why they took it out, its all of 1 or 2 seconds extra
