I thought M:I3 was the best of the series because it actually focused on THE TEAM and not just Ethan Hunt. Sounds like this next one is taking a step backwards if it's just about Cruise and Renner.

I just hope it's not like MI :2 . It will be strange if Ving Rhames isn't involved at some point

HUH? read the article lol

patton is in this kreuk tested for the role that went to patton

Paula Patton is HOT! Reminds me Alicia Keys.

I'm still wondering what they're gonna call it, if it's not gonna be Mission Impossible 4? Self Destruct?

And she gave birth to like her first child a few months ago.

Wow.

I really think they'll call it "Operation: (code name)"

I think 3 was good, 2 was brutal and 1 was the best. For me it was just a deep movie with a heavy espionage feel. Well see how 4 turns out.

I don't think Kristen is so bad, but she looks so young that I probably won't buy her as an agent.

After Smallville ends, I don't know who will stick around and become a big star. I would think she might get the chance if she plays it smart.

Bingo.

So it's a reboot but it still has Cruise in it? I suppose they could call in Impossible Mission Force or IMF.

Impossible Mission Force just sounds so stupid, even back during the original show. All it is, really, is a name that can go along with 'Mission: Impossible'. In that context, IMF makes sense in a 60s cheesy kinda way.

Well, since all the films was more or less like a stand-alone films with the exception of the only recurring is Cruise and Ving Rhames. So this "reboot" approach doesn't bother me at all.

If they can work in "IMF" in the title they may have something, anything but "Self Destruct". It's Abrams, so chances are he'll come up with some funky title.

I love Paula Patton. The cast is shaping up quite nicely.

As for all the big movies he's got coming up, Renner says, "I get overwhelmed when I think about the whole gamut, so right now I'm just focused on Mission Impossible. I'll start training for it this afternoon. Tom (Cruise) has been nothing but an amazing champion and a giving human being, and he's the main reason I'm doing it."

With him starting training today I am guessing the October shoot date is the correct one as opposed to the December one.

Wait wait wait? Their rebooting the Mission Impossible films? Why? And its gonna be called Impossible Mission Force?

I dont get how this is a reboot if Ethan Hunt is still in it

I mean if anything it would just be a sequel. I think many press outlets dont get the meaning of reboot
