Have to hand it to Cruise he's definitely not afraid of anything. I'm terrified of heights and there's no way I'd do what he does.

"I live a very simple life. If I'm supposed to make 7.7 million US dollars and they're offering me three, I don't know if that's going to work. I did the last one for more than three million, there's no misunderstanding - it's 7.7 million or no!"
Looks like Ving Rhames might not be appearing in this movie after all. You know how actors usually get pay increases with sequels or the longer a TV show runs (which is how someone like Noah Wylie can make a lot of money on ER but not even sniff a fraction of that salary doing any other projects)? It's a number Rhames was quoted as saying, but if $7.7 million is what he's actually demanding.

Yeah, because 3 million dollars is so little. God, I hate people like this. I hope they call his bluff and say no. He needs to learn the concept of negotiation and learn to compromise.
That man is smiling and waving at people on the side and on top of the highest building in the world...
I would be crying and ****ting myself all at once.
are you sure? And I hope somebody around him tells him that he needs M:I:4 more than M:I:4 needs him. I love him in these and hope not to lose him, but this movie can survive without him and he needs to understand that and take the money. Is there any other film begging to have him right now? 3 million is better than zero!
Hopefully Josh Holloway plays a good role. Is he good or bad?
are you sure?
isnt this a Trom Crusie franchise?
The IMAX Corporation announced today they've signed an agreement with Paramount Pictures for four tentpole movies being released in 2011 to be shown day and date in IMAX(R) theaters.
The four movies are J.J. Abrams' Super 8 released on June 10, the Abrams' produced Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, once again starring Tom Cruise and directed by Brad Bird, set for December 16, the previously announced Transfomers: Dark of the Moon, directed by Michael Bay, on July 1, and Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn two weeks later on December 28 (in the United States).
The latter two were filmed in 3D and will be remastered for release in IMAX 3D, while Mission: Impossible has scenes that were filmed using IMAX cameras similar to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.

how cute. Bird has no idea how Imax worksCome to think of it, it's not that surprising really. Brad Bird was a huge fan of the IMAX scenes in TDK and even told Pfister to shoot the entirety of the TDK sequel in IMAX. So it's expected when Brad Bird himself got a chance to make a summer blockbuster of his own, he'd go for a similar approach. I'm quite excited about this. TDK in IMAX was the best and most immersive theater experience I ever had. I sure hope that the Burj Khalifa action scene is shot in IMAX.![]()
