When it comes to having currency with you wherever you go; do you mostly use a credit card/debit card more than actual money, or use money more than the card?

A bit of both. I've always got some cash on me, but sometimes I do use my card.

I have an allotted amount of cash to spend every month. I pay for bills and unexpected expenses on one credit card and for gas on another.

It's hard to budget your money when you use credit cards for everything.

Card. I'm always afraid of losing my paper money.

you have SOME security with plastic... cash, once it's gone, it's gone....

you can cancel and lost card....

I use a credit card when I can. I'll use cash for small stuff or if I might want to return it.

plastic debit, whenever i see cash i tend to spend it more than i do with my debit.

Plastic, though I try my hardest to have a bit of loot in my wallet. When I see alot of paper money in my wallet, it's gone in the next five minutes.

anyone ever been to a place that doesn't accept plastic?

Was at Subway the other day, and when I went to pay with my card, they said "we don't accept cards, cash only".... after talking with the manager, I ended up paying him with a check, to which he gave me cash to use for my order....

My friends can never carry cash on them, I dunno why. But if I have a few spare dollar bills laying around, I'll put them in my wallet. But for the most part, debit card.

If I have the cash then I'll use it. Otherwise, I use debit card.

No, but I've had places try to tell me they wouldn't take cash. You have to tell them it says legal tender, for all debts public and private. Still they try to argue sometimes.

Tim Hortons (the major donut chain in Canada) doesn't accept debit. Quite silly, actually.

i prefer money cause i can actually see how much im spending or have left...

though i'd wish they'd make our paper money a bit stronger and durable like other countries...
were supposebly a strong country... we should have some strong bills. lol

I hate using my debit card, it makes it so much harder to keep track of what I'm spending. I've been resisting getting a credit card for years, and it seems like that won't last much longer. :csad: Also, if a place doesn't take cash, I let them know that I won't be shopping there anymore.

I closed my account on ebay when they stopped accepting money orders as payment.
